I stayed at the Shinjuku for seven nights while my boyfriend attended a business function in Tokyo. I will try not to be redundant, but I certainly echo other reviewers' sentiments. Rooms: Sparse and cramped. Dingy and outdated. Linens: scratchy and threadbare. Temp: hot and humid in May despite A/C on high. Scraping for a positive/neutral adjective I'd label the... More

If you're looking for city centre location and aren't too picky with the room quality, then this may be your pick~ My boyfriend and I found a deal through Expedia for a double room in the Annex building (there are 2 separate buildings). Total for 4 nights came to CAD 458.60 including taxes/fees. Amenities were on par with staying at... More

The hotel room is miniscule and bathroom is the size of a matchbox, but I'm not gonna go into that since everybody else have . On arrival, the front desk staff was very unfriendly. On weekdays morning I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to catch an elevator down. Most of the times It's faster to the stairs, even... More

The location of the hotel is ok, and it looks good from the outside. The room looked ok when I first saw it, but staying there wasn't so nice. The beds are very hard, you have to have the tv on when you want to use the internet connection, but the worst part is that you can't open any windows,... More

One double bed wide 2 double beds deep and thats it. It is a good hotel, friendly staff and fast internet, (well compared to Australia). My only issue a 2 pm check in which is a long time after a 6 am flight from Sydney.. no complaints it is a good place to stay.

This is one of the cheaper hotels located in the middle of Shinjuku. The location is good, as it is connected to the airport by airport limousine and Shinjuku station by an underground walkway 10 min away. There is also a convenient supermarket on the ground floor, and offers choice of buffet or Japanese breakfasts. The hotel staff speak good... More

i'll cut the chase and make this fast 1) Location - 5 stars 2) Room Size - Small (but i'm fine with it) 3) Service - 3 stars (it's a 3 star hotel, what did you expect? .. a red carpet?) 4) Cleanliness - Clean Family mart downstairs which is 24/7 and approximately 10 mins walk to Shinjuku Station. So... More

While the location is great (within walking distance from Shinjuku Station), if you have any money in your piggy bank, walk 100 meters farther to the Park Hyatt. The rooms are micro-sized. I was relegated to the Annex building. The hallway smelled like food, the walls in my room seemed like they belonged on a cruise ship, and the bed... More

15 mintues and you can be in the middle of that Shinjuku can offer. The rooms are a bit on the small side but comfortable and clean. Plenty of small restaurants and there is also a small super market on the ground floor of the hotel. There is hardly anything clled a foyer as it is on the third floor... More

Some distance away from Shinjuku Main Station, but we have no problem with 15mins walk during my 7nights stay. In the hotel building itself, there's plenty of restaurants, cafes & convenient mart. Quite a few good food joints around the area. But on my arrival upon check in, i encountered a not so polite front desk male personnel. On other... More
