The hotel is conveniently located about 300 m away from the shinjuku station which a huge station and connects you to all of tokyo. Surrounding the hotel are a lot of restaurants and shops. They have a very convenient airport shuttle system and also a free shuttle to the train station if you need one. It has several restaurants in... More

Stayed for three nights towards the end of June after our wedding. It's hard to explain just how large Tokyo is for those who haven't been, and reading reviews and travel guides for a first time visitor cannot adequately describe it. Close to Shinjuku rail lines (closer than one would think), merely a 10-15 minute walk in the tunnels, with... More

Perhaps it is the culture or the area that the hotel was located but this is by far one of the snootiest hotels I've been. Located in the business districts, there isn't much to do around and it is quite far from the shopping areas. You gotta walk quite a bit to and fro the hotel. Overall service isn't great.... More

Stayed here for two nights. Usual efficient Japanese service with a particularly helpful concierge who gave us excellent advice on sightseeing. The rooms are small by Western standards but on par with most hotel rooms in Japan. Gym and swimming pool are well appointed and the view is outstanding. Breakfast had every possible choice and the service was efficient. It... More

Having been to Tokyo several times this was the first time to Shinjuku. The Hyatt is reasonably priced for the area and what you get and expect from this level of Hyatt. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and this is a clear stand out. You have the convince of a free shuttle to Shinjuku station or a paid... More

I have been coming to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo for over twenty years. Wonderful staff, free shuttle and many recently renovated rooms. Plus, it is nearly half the price of the Grand Hyatt and the Park Hyatt in Tokyo. Located in exciting Shinjuku. Definitely a great place to stay.

Nice but a bit impersonal. (Not necessarely a bad thing). Room was clean and, by Japanese hotel room standards, huge. Nice, friendly staff with good English skills. (This can not be taken for granted in Japan; not even in larger hotels.) Surroundings are a bit dull, but the hotel is very well located near the Shinjuku station and literally right... More

Great hotel. Big and clean room for Tokyo standard. Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel offers free shuttle to Shinjuku station. There is also a convenience store at the basement of the hotel. Will definetely come back to stay the next time we visit Tokyo.

I've stayed in this hotel twice, in two different rooms, both nice, but one with smaller and old-fashioner bathroom. The view is amazing especially from the pool, and higher levels. They have nice restaurants, but the Japanese-Western breakfast wasn't the best. Nice staff, good English speakers. They have a bus that goes to the Shinjuku station every 20 min. Big... More
