After stay at Park Hyatt Tokyo from across street, expect all Hyatt family would have the same customer services but disappointed front desk did not have warm / welcome attitude but still booked the 2nd night after check in but then decided to cancel at the midnight since can hear clearly from upstairs or next door pulling chairs or noises,... The Hyatt regency is one of my favourite hotels. The room was great, staff were lovely and always ready to help. From the minute you walk in. Breakfast buffet was good they had a nice selection. Prompt service. Check in and check out was very simple. Definitely recommend this hotel after a long flight. Thank you Hyatt Regency for a... More

We stayed in this hotel just one night enroute to Shanghai in December 15. The service of the staff is great. To our surprise, my daughter enjoyed one of the most delicious in room service in room service kids menu of all times!!

Great overall, pricey but you get what you pay for, Rooms are decent size considering it;s Tokyo. Airport bus drop off and pick up right at the front door. Shuttle bus service to Shinjuku is a god send..Never dine at hotel since they are too many better option near Shinjuku station.

We stayed at this property for one week. The proximity is excellent, with both local and bullet train stations nearby. As a Diamond member, we were upgraded to club level and given access to the lounge. The lounge staff was very accommodating to our vegetarian needs during evening reception, which we very much appreciate. Everything in the hotel was top... More

I stayed 3 nights during my trip in Japan. The hotel has a great location along with -shuttle service to JR Shinjuku. There is a park beside the hotel and a 7-11 convenience store beneath it. The staffs are very helpful and speak English very well. The Joule Spa and wellness was nice but has a small selection of cardio... More

The best Hyatt in Tokyo, though not as 'grand' as the other properties, this hotel makes up for it with the friendliness and accommodating atmosphere created by its staff. Much more convenient than the Park Hyatt with easy access to the Oedo Subway Line in the basement. Though not as centrally located as the Grand Hyatt, Shinjuku is an easy... More

Amazing service, clean rooms, and has a shuttle bus that leaves every 20 minutes that goes to the Shinjuku train station which is a major hub for public transportation. Otherwise, it's a 10 minute walk to the station and another train line right outside the hotel that we took to the Fish market. Really enjoyed the stay!

This property is just a few blocks from the metro station and the main train station in Tokyo. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The views are great and it's a nice place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The gym is adequate, and they have a pool and jacuzzi ($20/day to use). It's... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
