We spent 3 very comfortable nights at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. It's in a quieter part of Shinjuku, which is a good thing, but still a short walk to the metro and the train stations and the center of action. We had very comfortable beds with feather duvets and crisp sheets. There is an additional charge for a swim in... More

Perfect stay. Staff were extremely attentitive and discreet. Room was extremely spacious and up to very high standards. Transfer to Narita was hassle free as the airport bus stops at the hotel and all arrangements were made by the hotel staff. Will certainly stay again if in Tokyo.

The only comment is a bout Slow WiFi with many disconnections. They uinsist that I will add more info despite I wrote all that I had. Again they are bugging me with the request to write long review. As the title says it, we didn't enjoy this place much. However, location wise its good. Its within walking distance of the Shinjuku Station. The standard room is tiny compared to what we are used to. I would recommend this place only if you're going to be in Tokyo for a short time and only need a place to sleep.... More

This is one of the airport hotel stops in Shinjuku area. Close approximate to Shinjuku train station. The room size is quite small, can't complain much it's Tokyo after all. I share the room with my teenage son so not an issue for room size. The room is well maintained with modern amenity. Good stay for a couple of nights.

We had booked our hotel for Japan in advance and tend to let hotels know that we have 2 kids aged 2 and 1. We had booked the Hyatt over 4 months in advance as we were going in a peak season also roomies for our size family were hard to find. So we clearly mentioned the ages of kids... More

Booked with good deal and I wasn't expecting the good service and lovely breakfast. I knew that the Queen's room will be not very spacious so I booked king room. good view of Shinjuku. I was very happy that the receptionist was responded really nice what I offered it. Japanese hospitality is the best in the all over the world!... More

If you have a renovate room it is very good otherwise it s not a good price/quality rate. Sport room is very nice and big pool. Rooms are big and clean. Location is not amazing because it s a business area.

Affordable price good location. However, the room was rather small, NO FREE Wifi, and dated. You are better off at the Keio Plaza hotel across the street. The service was below average. They couldnt booked any good restaurant for us because apparently they have bad relationship with the restaurants. Only recommended average restaurant and have no idea about fancy restaurant.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
