A typical Japanese style small room with Hyatt touch near the center of Tokyo. The regular room was so small that we had to pay extra for the upgrade. The overall facilities were a bit outdated and somewhat boring. Check in experience was not as convenient as in Park Hyatt at all. But it was just ok as a 3... More

The hotel is located in a great and convenient location and its within walking distance from Shinjuku station through an underground walkway (useful in the cold winter months). They also provide a shuttle service from the station to the hotel and the airport bus also stops right in front of Hyatt Regency. The room is a little bigger than the... More

We were very disappointed to hear that we were expected to pay 2000Y each to use the pool. I've stayed in many luxury hotels and have never been charged extra to use the highlighted facilities, especially when we are paying over $450 AUD to stay here. Seems like an unnecessary money grabbing exercise. Won't be back

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in May 2015 and couldn't have picked a better hotel! The facilities felt old school glamour which we loved and the restaurant were amazing! Room was bigger than we thought and the pool was refreshing. Train station right underneath or you can take the hotel shuttle bus to Shinjuku station. Staff were helpful and... More

I spent 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel was clean, nice staffs, wonderful view from window, very good sound proof, ideal for a sleep after a long working day. The view from my window was wonderful. Bathroom amenities was very good.

I was there for 13 nights and was treated like royalty. The rooms are great and the amenities were wonderful. It is a bit of a walk from the Shinjuku Train Station, but there is a shuttle bus that leaves every 20 minutes.

Since January 2015 we are allowed to enter Japan with no visa if we have electronic passport and the visa is also easier compared with other European countries. So during summer holiday we decided to visit Japan Tokyo and Sapporo and I booked the ticket in April but not the hotel yet . When I will book the hotel in... More

The service provided by the hotel is excellent. Staff are extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. Room is clean, well-ordered and cleaned punctually. The location is at the centre of the city and the shuttle bus service is marvellous, running every 20 mins from hotel to MTR exit and vice versa. This is my choice of hotel whenever I came to... Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
