This is a quintessential business hotel. Excellent location, amazing service and very clean. All the staff were well trained and spoke good English. Pool on the 28th floor was fantastic (Gold member only though). Also provides regular shuttle service to Shinjuku station which ia a huge plus. Only downside was they charge for printing at the business centre.

Have stayed here a couple of times when visiting our Japanese affiliate and service is always great. Nice rooms, enough space well maintained and breakfast is a delight! With the subway below and the limousine bus service to Narita airport it is easy to get around. Staying on the upper floors provides nice views. Shinjuku train station is walking distance... More

Well maintained despite age. Not the modern and fancy boutique design hotel if that’s what you are after but certainly spacious room compared to the norm in Japan which is great for family. Well english-spoken staff at Reception and Concierge and excellent service as you would expect from Japan and an International brand name! 10-15min walk from station depending on... More

Extreme good location with airport shuttle to both airports. Metro station is just under the lobby. Nice vicinity, nice view at night. Facility little bit old but acceptable; Internet connection device is a little bit outdated. Others are not outstanding but still very good.

Loved every bit of this hotel , great staff , rooms and service. I especially loved the chandeliers. Made us feel very welcome and special. Great location and very helpful. Unfortunately we had to get dropped off at the Hilton hotel as the buss does not go there to drop off. Lucky that the Hilton is just across the road.... More

The Hyatt Regency is very well situated being within a very short 10 minute walk of the maze of Shinjuku JR station and metro stations near there. Those who are tired from shopping or sightseeing can use the free hotel shuttle. There are also two other metro stations within five minutes walk. All this makes it very convenient for guests.... We were expected at the Reception desk, check in was fast and efficient, staff friendly and helpful, but most especially we were very impressed with the Concierge assistance given to us during our four night stay.

Hyatt Regency Shinjuku is an excellent example of a well run/polished western chain hotel that assures you of well ironed and process driven service, superb business location, flavored dining options and a great night sleep. This hotel is in such pristine condition that it trumps Grand Hyatts in many lesser cities. It's s good 10 minutes walk from the gargantuan... More

Having travelled with a large group Tokyo was our last stop in Japan. Hyatt Hotels have a reputation to provide 5 star experiences so our expectations were high. I can say none of us were disappointed. The rooms were of adequate size although the bathroom very small, and the shower inside the bath personally is a no no for me.... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
