Well-priced. Small rooms, very small bathrooms. But in Tokyo one should not expect much more so close to Shinjuku action. One can walk to the main Shinjuku stations. A few steps away from the hotel there is a great little seafood place where the menu is Japanese only. The waiters do not speak or understand any English. They allowed me... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent holiday in Japan. The hotel is basic, somewhere to dump your stuff whilst you are off exploring. The staff are very friendly, good English language and very easy to communicate with them if you dont speak Japanese. There is a coffee machine in reception for you to help yourself whenever you fancy.... More

We only had one night in this hotel. We chose it based on the location which is useful - very close to Shinjuku and the station. Check in was swift and staff were friendly. There were lots of useful maps and information in the foyer. Our room was small as expected but thoughtfully laid out and spotlessly clean. A LAN... More

We loved it. Staff don't bother you and are helpful when approached. Beds are v comfy and yes rooms are small but it's Tokyo, to be expected. House keeping do a great job ensuring rooms are clean and tidy. Great neighbourhood w lots of affordable places to eat. Situated next to a grave yard so if you're weird about that,... More

Everything we expected, clean, central and the coffee machine was a bonus. Reception staff were very helpful. Room was small as expected but comfortable and the bathroom was actually quite large, we had the superior twin room.

Nishi Shinjuku Hotel mystays is just great if your are visiting Tokyo as a tourist. Excellent location, restaurants, Izakayas.. you name it!! But if you're in Tokyo for business you might feel that the room is not suitable, for instance, there was no wardrobe for suits. I preferred to move out and they might have charged an extra fee for... More

The situation is perfect. The neighborhood also. Business hotel with everything you need. Feel free to take everything you need in your bathroom (shampoo,...) Rooms cleaned, not noisy. Also little bit small but normal for European style room in Tokyo. Wifi available in the room, ask the reception. We'd stay there again.

Upon arriving with my partner we took the mid renovation lift which had a tarp on the floor up to the reception. The receptionist was not what you would call friendly but wasn't unpleasant. I was dubious as she flatly handed us our room key and told us that there was no hot water until after 7.00pm. She did not... More

Thank you very much for choosing Nishi-Shinjuku Hotel Mystays. Firstly we are deeply sorry for not being able to provide our guests proper services. Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
