Really nice clean hotel. Staff were really friendly although their English wasn't the best. Room was clean although a bit small but that was expected from previous rooms. The toilet was fun to use. Good location near lots of restaurants and the train station.

We stayed in a twin room on the 6th floor. Compared to some other Tokyo hotel rooms, this room had enough for our 2 large suitcases, backpacks and still had room to move around in. The bathroom is the typical plastic style, common in Japan but was a decent size. Vending machines with drinks, beers, noodles and microwaves are located... More

the moment i stepped into the room, i felt very warm. and to notice that, the air-conditioned is not even switch-on. switch it one basically or the air-circulation. probably its just me that i really like to be 'cooling situation', my probably only complain is the room is too 'warm' for me. they have an additional heater which i did... Thank you for taking the time to review your latest visit to Nishi-Shinjuku Hotel Mystays. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. But we do apologize for the inconvenience of the air-conditioning system. You can not use cooling mode on winter season in this hotel. We have to choose the system for cooling or heating, and... Great, cheap hotel near central train stations. I initially missed the hotel due to the density of the area. If walking from the JR lines, be on the lookout for a small public park that is in front of the hotel. My room was the perfect size for a solo traveler staying for 3 days. Also, amenities (toothpaste, toothbrush, etc)... More

Knowing that we would spend most of our time out exploring Tokyo and not in the hotel room, we were looking for something affordable and clean in a great location. This definitely fit the bill. So many dining and shopping options right outside our door and friendly staff.

Being in walking distance from Shinjuku station with all sorts of restaurants and amenities nearby you will not go wrong choosing this hotel. Our room were of a good size in view of price and location. Would come again, but hoping that the bathroom would be refurbished, as this was somewhat worn. Friendly and helpful staff throughout.

This is my second time staying at this hotel since July last year and we booked the same room type (twin, non smoking). Getting to the hotel was simple, hope onto a Limousine bus from the airport and take all the way to West exit Shinjuku station. Get off the bus and walk towards the Uniqulo building with the metro... Firstly, the location is excellent just 10 minutes walk from Exit 30 of Shinjuku Station, or 5 minutes to Nishiguchi Shinjuku Metro. Plenty of good and cheap restaurants nearby for quick dinners and drinks and it's sufficiently far from the more seedy side of Kabukicho Shinjuku. The hotel is modern and clean, the staff friendly. The rooms weren't the smallest... More

There was a free coffee machine at the lobby. A huge plus point! I know that rooms in Tokyo are small but the room we stayed in was REALLY SMALL! Bathrooms need upgrading but size was ok. There was also a bathtub inside.

This hotel is located in a quiet pocket just away from the crazyness of Shinjuku which made it perfect. There are local bars and restaurants in all the streets surrounding the hotel so you can have great food and drinks with the crowds and in a more cozy environment. Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
