The hotel was conveniently located across from the Nishishinjuku stop for the Maronuchi line, and the JR Shinjuku Station was a 5 minute walk away. Staff were friendly and eager to help, the cost of the room was in line with expectations, and there were a lot of places to eat and shop - also very close to the Robot... More

Very centrally located in Shinjuku, the hotel is very clean and convenient. Room and bathroom were big enough for me. The staff is very professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. I would book again at Nishitetsu Inn, despite the very weak internet connection in the room.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a tiny single-room which was practically furnished, except enough place to hang-up your coats etc. Bed was very comfortable, healthy pillow to sufficiently support your neck. Mini-bathroom but fitted with Shiseido-products, like shower-gel, shampoo, conditioner. Very good hairdryer inside drawer of desk beneath window. Individual temperature setting of A/C not possible. Very warm in... More

Stayed at this hotel during New Years for 2 nights. The location is very convenient as it is just next to Nishi-Shinjuku subway station and also a short 10 min walk to the Shinjuku station. Didn't have any breakfast. Was visiting my friend in Tokyo and just needed a place to sleep. Good thing about this hotel was that the... More

I am new to staying in Japan as an American from the USA. The room was neat and clean. It was a bit small compared to what I am used to. The water was good to drink and the shower pressure was good. The hotel was near public transportation and food.

Service is good. Location is good. It was a very pleasant experience. At first I was worried that it is far from Shinjuku JR station, but then I found out it was really not that far as I thought. Of course it is very convenient if I take the Marunouchi line.

The room was rather small with only enough room for the bed. Good luck lying your suitcase out to unpack! The bathroom was very basic and felt like a camper van. The front desk was pleasant, location very good.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
