- booked a non-smoking room but room smelled of smoke..... As did the entire floor and hallways ; didn't think it would be worth complaining about as they probably don't have anything that wasn't smoke-filled - rooms and bathrooms are dated - a little far from Shinjuku station (in fact, should transfer on subway to another station that's closer); can... Nishitetsu Inn Is in very good location in Nishi-Shinjuku section one-half block from Metro station. Inn caters to the Japanese market as rooms are smaller than usual hotel rooms in Japan and extremely tiny for western market. Western breakfast consists of toast and coffee for 80 yen whereas full Japanese breakfast is 1080 yen. Hotel lobby is something from the... More

This hotel has everything for a comfortable stay. Only doenside is check in is strictly after 3pm. I work as guest services and at our hotel, we don't see how it benefits either guests or hotel to keep them waiting til official check in time. If the room is ready. Guest will appreciate it more after a long journey to... More

Close to Shinjuku station allowing for easy access from Narita airport and the subway. The most difficult part is to navigate Shinjuku station to find the west exit, from there it is an easy 5minute walk. Once you have mastered this you will have no trouble getting to and fromthe hotel

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
