As the title says, it ticks all the 3Cs for a one night stay in Tokyo. It is a 5-10 minute walk from Shinjuku station, and it is close to many restaurants and shops. Most hotels in Tokyo have a check-in of 3pm, but by paying 1000 yen/hour, you can check-in a little bit earlier. Otherwise, the check-in process was... More

This is a rather basic hotel, but it has everything one needs (good wifi, easy to use laundry machines, good location, helpful staff). If you are looking for a sensible, easy, reliable solution look no further!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, room (kettle/tea, shampoo, lotion, toothbrushes, bottled water, gowns, slippers). 2min from subway, easy walk to Shinjuku. Coffee samples in room would have been nice too.

Dear 178echan Thank you for staying with us and your wonderful comments about Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku. Hotel was a bit further from things than we thought but most were within walking distance for us, and the hotel was opposite a Metro station for everything else. Quiet room and, compared to other Tokyo hotels, a reasonable size too. Good wifi connection for planning our daytrips and decent cafe at the entrance for breakfast. Free baggage storage the... More

As you stated the location of our hotel is within walking distance from Shinjuku main station though, it is a little bit difficult to get to our hotel for first comer. Good location by Shinjuku, rooms bit small if you carry two 20kg suitcases, no electric sockets in bathroom, boring design, good bfast if you are in love with japanesese food. Comfortable beds, poor English of receptionists.

Dear Grzegorz P Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your recent stay with us. This is a no frills hotel: rooms are small but clean and the front desk staff is helpful. The beds are indeed hard - which I like - and the frames are made out of laminate. Again - clean bathrooms. It feels like a bit of a matchbox but it's a very value when you consider the fantastic Shinjuku area... More

Booked with a great deal as I intended to stay near Shinjuku area and expect not much as the deal I got is really cheap compared to the hotel around Shinjuku west side. Surprisingly a single room has quite a good size bed and space for Tokyo business hotel. Room equipped with compacted but full function bath room and toilet... More

Located about 10 minutes away from Shinjuku station and the airport limousine bus stop, it was a good location to stay such that you are close to the action at Shinjuku, but still able to enjoy the relative peace and quiet when you want to rest. The room and hotel was clean and simple. Size was small as is typical... More

This hotel is in an excellent location, just about 5 minutes away from the train station. The wifi works well. Not a big room, but big enough by Japan standards. Staff is efficient and very nice. Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
