I stayed there 4 nights at this place and it was pretty good!! Free wifi, good selection of breakfast, convenient location, many restaurants, many department stores nearby and 8 min walk to Shinjuku Station. It's in heard of Kabukicho, so on the weekend and at night it was loud!! Many young people hanging around the escalator which leads to lobby.... More

I think I may not be completely fair in my review as I stayed at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku (which was just excellent in terms of location and everything else) for 4 nights at the start of my trip and stayed at the Best Western Astina for 1 night at the end. I paid the same rate for both. The... More

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here, but suffice to say it was the perfect hotel for a week's (7) stay in Tokyo. Located within walking distance of the train station, restaurants, shops and nightlife, but just far enough that it wasn't noisy. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant, we had the buffet breakfast everyday as... More

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights. Rooms are fairly big, very clean and quite handy. They provide lots of amenities such as slippers, robes, bathroom needs (hair ties, earbuds, face towels etc). Gotta love the heated toilet seats! The hotel room was great, comfy beds and spacious enough for 2 large suitcases plus a little cabin bag. Free... More

Average hotel in good location, bang in the middle of red light district, 5 mins from Shinjuku station. 100's of shops bars and restaurants a stones throw away. My room was very small and very expensive, not sure how other reviewers got large cheap rooms?? Also not sure how one reviewer didn't notice this was in red light district, didn't... More

Visited tokyo for a quick 2 to 3 night business visit with 2 other colleagues. Choose Best Western Shinjoko for near the center of Tokyo and some site seeing. For the price we paid I can highly recommend to stay there as the rooms are decent and clean. Right down stairs there is plenty to eat and drink. Staff are... More

The rooms are fairly large by Tokyo standards (they even have a closet and drawers). The location is right in the middle of the entertainment/red light district, but what impressed me most was the helpfulness of the staff. We were in with the flu one night and our video on demand wasn't working. Instead of just making a note of... More

This is a very comfortable, reasonably priced, hotel, located at a fantastic location with in close proximity of one of the major stations in Tokyo. Please dont worry about the red light district location of the hotel, for 3 reasons: 1- The red light district is a lot more toned-down that those of European cities. Dont think "Amsterdam"; its not... More

We really, really, enjoyed our stay here. After leaving another hotel because it was dirty and disgusting, we truly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The bathroom are really nice, with beautiful decor. The continental breakfast was really good, with a wide selection of food. The staff are all courteous, friendly and speak great english.... More

Great for new visitors to Tokyo and especially young people. Excellent location near big department stores such as Isetan. JR rail and other subway trains nearby. Link to Narita airport close as well. All of the above are walking distance. The area is a bit "rough" with nightlife girl-bars and clubs, but it can be passed quickly. Hotel is one... More
