I chose this hotel due to its location, close to the neon canyons of shinjuku but tucked away next to shinjuku park, as well as being just around the corner of yoyogi station. It is quiet with small, simple rooms with comfortable beds. I am 6 foot 1 so before coming to Japan I was a bit worried the beds... More

The best feature of the hotel is definitely the ideal location as Shinjuku ward is very big and Shinjuku Park Hotel is located in a very convenient location within the heart of Shinjuku. The nearest exit is E8 for Shinjuku Sanchome Metro Station (新宿三丁目駅) which is approx 2mins walk to the hotel. But bear in mind that Tokyo is very... More

Stayed at this hotel during my first visit to Tokyo. It is near the JR shinjuku new south exit, cconvenient if you are taking narita express. There's a few convenient stores around it, best of all, takashimaya times square is just a block away. Its a business hotel so rooms are basic but clean. It's easy to locate the hotel,... More

Shinjuku is one of several 'nerve centres' of the giant metropolis of Tokyo; my friends with whom I work regularly in Tokyo have put me into the Shinjuku Park Hotel several times, and now it's a "look forward to" regular hotel of mine. Travellers must understand that Tokyo is a very expensive city and that "space" is at a premium.... More

For photos, and a 5D4N Tokyo itinerary, check out: http://rubbisheatrubbishgrow.wordpress.com/2012/05/17/tokyo-itinerary-part-i-accommodation-getting-around-shinjuku/ Accommodation You have to walk long stretches to get to a metro or a JR train so it is best to stay near a major station: Tokyo, Ginza, Shibuya, Roppongi and Shinjuku. Roppongi is most convenient because it is located near all the sightseeing sites and boasts of a bustling... More

We have stayed here 3 times staying variously in a twin room, double room and a japanese style room. Friendly efficient service, comfortable clean rooms and good sized bathrooms. Cheap beer in the vending machines too. This place is a great find and so close to the railway station, shops and restuarants. The fantastic Shinjuku Goyen National Garden is also... More

We stayed for four nights in the Shinjuku Park. The room was of an adequate size, but tiresome to be in twin beds rather than a double - which is standard for business hotels in Tokyo. The location was fine and central (it's only a few steps to Shinjuku Park which is beautiful), and there was a reasonably priced laundrette... More

The hotel is located very near to JR station, about 5mins walk. On the way from the station to the hotel, there are convenience shops and eateries. So location wise, I do not have any complaints. Staff wise, as I stayed there in different days, I met different kind of staff. The first time I was there, the reception was... More

Booked the hotel for 2 night stay over the phone from Australia as the online booking form would not come up in English. I booked it based on location and it was great! Caught Narita express direct from airport to Shinjuku station and Hotel is a very short walk from the station. The staff were very helpful and allowed us... More
