Went here in the middle of summer, and it was BOILING hot. When we checked in we both got given icy poles, and cool bottles of water! And they did the same the next day when we returned to our room! The staff were SO friendly, they spoke enough English for us to communicate easily. We hired a laptop for... More

Chilled water and ice blocks on return to the hotel just can't be beaten in 30 degree+ heat! The rooms were larger than some I've seen, although yes...a little dated, but clean and tidy. Super quiet too, especially given the location. I would definitely stay there again :)

This is a dated hotel that's a good alternate option but isn't the best in the area. The rooms are styled in 80s French maid and are a bit small. The location isn't terrible but it is ~10 minutes to Shibuya station. Not sure I'd stay here again but it was ok as a last ditch option. Check out the... More

For my first visit to Tokyo I thought Shibuya was a great place to start and this hotel is just a short walk from the station, although carrying your baggage over the pedestrian bridge is slightly awkward. The area is is very lively, full of all the restaurants, shops etc you could want. Transport is also excellent as the Narita... More

The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I was very pleased with their manners, behaviours and willingness to help. I was also very satisfied with the hotel location and cleanliness. It is very near the train stations, Shibuya city and many restaurants and shops which are open until very late around the area. I had taxi... More

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights in April 2014. The location is pretty much unbeatable, a very short walk to Shibuya station with lots of shopping, bars and restaurants nearby. The room is reasonably small as other reviews have mentioned, but it was plenty of room for us and our suitcases and we never felt squashed. The staff... More

We couldn't have found a better hotel to stay at than Sakura for our first trip to Tokyo! Tokyo is an expensive city with my husband and me not wanting to spend $$$. Through trip advisor we found Sakura in the heart of Shibuya, walking distance from metro, restaurants and the Shibuya crossing. Reasons why this place is great: 1.... More

the room was good enough for us. ( But we 5'2 and husband is 5'5) and I was born in Mexico so I am use to small spaces ;) Our room was always clean. The personnel is always smiling and attentive. the location is awesome for the price. everything is in walking distance. even though is close to the main... More

Rooms are very small but it's very clean, very quiet, and it's in a great location. It's really close to Shibuya. The small space does take a little getting used to but if you're out and about all day, it doesn't really matter. The shower was super - really powerful. And wifi was great - included in the price and... More

The location is perfect because 10 minutes by foot and you are in the middle of everything, many restaurants, nights clubs, departments stores and many convenients stores too, the room is average size in Asia, clean and they give you shampoo that is for hands, body and face lol...
