We really enjoyed staying here. The location was great...plenty of nice restaurants and shopping with easy walking distance. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was furnished nicely and was roomy. Free internet. We had a great view from the room. The hotel is adjacent to the railroad/subway station, so, it was convenient. We especially liked our... Stayed at this property from 23 to 28 April 2015 - Couldn't have chosen a better place for my first trip to Japan. Its location is GREAT... On top of the station, across from Takashimaya, many restaurants, pubs & cafes close by... You will not go hungry for sure! Restaurants in the hotel closes early but no worries, the eateries... Stayed in a scenic king room for three nights and was quite impressed; the views (both from the room and the bar in the lobby) were quite something. Check in was good and the reception staff either spoke good English or were able to understand enough to be able to help (eg with directions). The room was fairly modern and... More

Room was clean, well-maintained, and had a nice view of the city. Excellent location, very close to the action and also the train station. No concierge on duty but the front desk staff were more than happy to help with helping us make travel arrangements.

Its unbelievable that there is no bellman service available! No room service as well! Is this even called a hotel? The two of us had to carry everything upstairs to the 20th floor. Wow w*f Oh btw, the manager doesn't speak English. This will be my first and last stay at this hotel.

First time at this hotel as they were having a fantastic offer on their website...my usual base is at the shibuya Tokyo excel..another great location . As I use the JR line to get around both hotels are right on top of the stations, the excel connection is fully covered but the century southern is connected via an uncovered but... More

Being a first timer to Japan this hotel was really good and convenient for us. The Limousine Bus from Narita dropped us at the hotel entrance. The reception area is bright and cheerful. All the staff we spoke to speak English. They are polite, efficient, informative and very helpful. The room is very clean with plenty of lighting which can... More

Very convenient location - 3 minute walk to Shinjuku station, Starbucks, Krispy Kremes practically out the front. The Takashimaya department store is just over the footbridge outside the hotel where you can find lots of yummy food. You need to go up two separate lifts to get to your room as the lobby is located on the 20th floor. This... More

This hotel has it all - location, views, spacious room, and reasonable price. We booked the corner room with panoramic views and it was amazing. Well worth the extra cost. The location is unbeatable. Shinjuku is a lively area with tons of shops and restaurants, and the train station a few minutes away makes getting around Tokyo a breeze. Would... More

I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Tokyo. The location is fantastic, walking distance from the train station and there are a lot of things to do in the area. Golden gai and Yakitori alley is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There are a number of cafes in the area if you opt to... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
