We stayed in King room with panoramic views. Liked the spaciousness of the room and the hotel location. It was minutes walk to Shinjuku station and Takashimaya. Service was great but was what you would have expected from the Japanese. We also stayed in the same hotel two years ago and it was as good as before.

As you should know by now, the hotel is located just minutes away from the station, across from Krispy Creme. Their large room well furnished and in good condition. My room had an electric kettle, room safe and mini fridge. No ironing board but I didn't ask house keeping if they would send one to my room. BBC, CNN, Fox... More

Great location to Shinjuku station and concourse to department store with great restaurants and food floors! Krispy Creme and Starbucks right by concourse. Great breakfast buffet but, there is no room service or bell boys to help you with luggage. Front desk on 20th floor. There is a handy convenience store on lobby level though. Rooms on smaller side but... More

It may not located above the train station but only few min walk to Shinjuku station ( south exit ). Narita airport orange bus will drop you off right in front of the hotel. The room I stayed has a spectular view of downtown Toyko, room size is very spacious for couple. This is a perfect hotel for first time... More

We stayed here for 6 nights - we are a family of 5 so had two rooms. The hotel is in a great location right near Shinjuku station, a short walk to a good shopping district as well as to lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Overall it is pretty good value. I would... More

Service - Staff's english proficiency is reasonable across all departments dealt with. Location - 60mins from airport by airport limousine(bus). The bus is an excellent option to get from the airport but the JR should be slightly faster. Problem with JR for 1st timers to hotel is that you will need to change trains at Shinagawa station to the Yamanote... More

This hotel is perfectly located for the traveller who wants easy access to the train to explore Tokyo and wants to be close to the best shopping (e.g. right across from Takashimiya) in Shinjuku. It is also a short walk from all of the restaurants and bars in Shinjuku (e.g. Golden Gai). The hotel itself is very good. Rooms were... More

This hotel starts on the 20th floor, so everyone is guaranteed a decent view. We had two rooms on the 33rd floor facing on opposite sides of the hotel -- both rooms had pretty good views, though the room facing Takashimaya has a more panoramic view. This hotel is conveniently located directly across from Takashimaya / Tokyu Hands and Lumine... More

We were in Tokyo Dec. 26-31. It was mild winter weather. Not too cold so we could move around in relative comfort. There were too many people in Tokyo this time. Our stay in Hotel Century was very pleasant - service very good, staff very friendly and so willing to help us in every problem we encountered as we went... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
