The hotel has a great location and just 5 minutes walk from the JR Shinjuku station/ Lumier 1 & 2 and a metro station at its ground level. The link bridge to Takashimaya, Tokyu Hands and Times Square.

This hotel has a great location. If taking the Narita Express, you can get off at Shinjuku station and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. The rates are quite reasonable and the room size is huge by Tokyo standards. Very clean as well. Rooms are high and I had a nice view of Shinjuku buildings. If I go back to... More

Nice clean and very spacious room, especially in the tokyo standards. Do ask for high floor rooms, some rooms have a view of Mt Fuji. Stayed at the highest floor room facing takashimaya, plus views of the Gyeon. Breakfast not cheap, but variety quite okay.

I am extremely demanding and picky but Hotel Century Southern Tower did not disappoint in any way. It was simply the BEST and now I feel like I will miss out on other hotels in Tokyo in the future but I can't justify not returning. Location - The location is excellent. You can walk from Shinjuku Station proper (easily with... More

We chose this hotel because it is very close to Shinjuku station (the busiest station in the world). It is very easy to walk to the hotel from the station. The hotel is large and most rooms would have an interesting view. Our room had a view of the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Rooms were a decent size and quiet.... More

We stayed in King room with panoramic views. Liked the spaciousness of the room and the hotel location. It was minutes walk to Shinjuku station and Takashimaya. Service was great but was what you would have expected from the Japanese. We also stayed in the same hotel two years ago and it was as good as before.

As you should know by now, the hotel is located just minutes away from the station, across from Krispy Creme. Their large room well furnished and in good condition. My room had an electric kettle, room safe and mini fridge. No ironing board but I didn't ask house keeping if they would send one to my room. BBC, CNN, Fox... More

Great location to Shinjuku station and concourse to department store with great restaurants and food floors! Krispy Creme and Starbucks right by concourse. Great breakfast buffet but, there is no room service or bell boys to help you with luggage. Front desk on 20th floor. There is a handy convenience store on lobby level though. Rooms on smaller side but... More

It may not located above the train station but only few min walk to Shinjuku station ( south exit ). Narita airport orange bus will drop you off right in front of the hotel. The room I stayed has a spectular view of downtown Toyko, room size is very spacious for couple. This is a perfect hotel for first time... More

We stayed here for 6 nights - we are a family of 5 so had two rooms. The hotel is in a great location right near Shinjuku station, a short walk to a good shopping district as well as to lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Overall it is pretty good value. I would... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
