With the lowest bedrooms being on 21st floor the bedrooms are well away from the hubbub of Shinjuku, yet walking distance from the station (and also sitting on top of most of the metro lines). The bedrooms are smallish but comfortable. Breakfast is OK although Starbucks is a few steps away. Staff were friendly but be aware that because it... More

This hotel starts on the 20th floor and goes all the way to the 35th. The view is amazing ! The elevators have better views than most other hotels. Also location , location, location. It is right in the middle of very popular part of town. Upscale shopping is just outside. The best food in Tokyo is only a short... More

I stayed here for a weekend before a conference at the nearby Hilton hotel. The location was very central and the room was very clean and relatively spacious for Tokyo. Wifi was excellent throughout and the lobby area bar with great city views was an unexpected treat. Actually preferred this hotel to the Hilton! Would highly recommend.

This was the only hotel I found that would accommodate 3 pax in a room. It is more spacious than most hotels in Tokyo. Although they didn't have room service, it wasn't a huge deal. Situated right at the Shinjuku hub, there were lots of eateries, bakeries and shops to visit. Breakfast in the morning at 730am was no challenge... More

We stayed here in November 2014 and it’s taken me some time to get round to submitting a review. The hotel offers great rates for a decent hotel in central Tokyo but the trade off is a slightly impersonal factory of a hotel. The rooms are spacious, ours had a view towards Mt Fuji. We used the Tribeks restaurants for... More

This hotel is actually located on a business tower building. The lobby is on the 20th floor and extends 15 floors from there. If you take the Airport Limousine Bus Service from Narita International Airport, you will have door-to-door service without handling luggage aboard a train. It will cost about $31.00 USD one-way. There are restaurants in the building at... More

This is a beautiful hotel, very close to Shinjuku station. The room was spacious enough for Tokyo, and very clean. Great location if you want to stay in Shinjuku, with good restaurants, shopping and nightlife close by. There is a small convenience shop in the lobby which is good when arriving jet lagged for some drinks and snacks. There are... More

A great location, the rooms are clean and the view is wonderful, too. We are particularly fond of the bar by the lobby. Sakai-san is a very sweet and talented staff member, and when I see her, I make sure to drop by for a drink. She makes great cocktails and has a sweet smile.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
