We lived comfortably in this hotel with a panarama view over the city. It was very nice to look out in the night when we couldnt sleep because of the jetlag. We had 2 kids with us and the room was big enough to accommadate all of us. Good shampoo and shower gel. A little bit difficult to communicate with... More

Not bad but not excellent and can't see why it can be ranked #1. 1) well equipped with full amenities 2) reception staff is friendly only for the first 2 questions/3 mins. If you ask more, they show impatience. 3) convenient, but a male staff told us a wrong way to 歌舞妓町 and long face 4) I pay for 4... More

This hotel was fantastic. Very easy to find and within close proximity to Shinjuku Station, making it an easy trip from Narita Airport via Narita Express. Friendly welcome and was able to check in to our room straight away in the morning, despite the check in time from 3pm which was great after our long flight. The rooms were of... More

On year later I'm back in Tokyo and booked the same hotel, in a large room with a panoramic view at the 34rd floor, but this time facing south-east. Perfect cleaning, super quiet and very nice king-size bed. Buying some food for takeaway and some drink and having dinner at the room is very nice considering the view offered. Several... More

This hotel could not be better situated. It is literally a half block from Shinjuku station and right in the middle of an outstanding area of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The courtyard attached to the hotel has a Starbucks (huge plus in my book) and a Krispy Kreme..... This was a nice perk for grabbing a super quick coffee and... More

Since there were 6 of us, we booked into 2 scenic rooms as this room accommodates extra beds. The room was large, amenities were great, and the view was great. The strong points in this hotel is that it's so near to the new southern terrace exit of shinjuku station where narita express train platform is, making travel to narita... More

Had a 2 night stay here, arrived late from Shanghai to Tokyo, easy to get to by a bus at the airport 3100 yen per person. Reception spoke English, and gave us a room with all possible request. We got a large king size bed, very comfy, west facing room over looking a spectacular view of Tokyo, although not a... More

We had a King Panoramic Room and the views were just spectacular and well worth the extra money. The Staff were very professional and the location is right in the middle of Shinjuku which is the perfect base for us. The wifi was a little slow and would keep prompting me to reconnect which was annoying, but overall it was... More

The hotel location is right in the middle of Shinjuku. Shopping, eating, transportation are within steps. View from rooms are good (we are now on 30th floor). Recommending this hotel to anyone coming to Tokyo especially for family.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
