This hotel is centrally located and is perfectly located in Shibuya with the famous crossing, the underground station and all the shops literally on its doorstep. The reception staff all spoke English so this was never a issue and the Hotel had some really nice added features such as a pool area which is a nice way to end a... More

Very nice hotel with Onsen, western or Japanese breakfast, and free nightly noodle meal. Massage service available and bikes. Although close to the rail, very quiet. Not five stars because a little ways from the station, about 10 minute walk or free shuttle to Shibuya station.

I stayed here with three other friends, my girl friend and I shared one room and two friends shared a room next door. The staff was exceptionally friendly, even when my friend and I locked ourselves out from our room, they did not show any grimace or signs of annoyance and were understanding. The free breakfast was one of the... More

We stayed at Dormy for 5 nights. Room was 6th floor & quiet despite being so close to train line. Room was compact but comfortable & super clean. We love the shower with excellent water pressure. Lots of extras such as water bottles, toothbrushes, pyjamas & slippers to wear around hotel and to the onsen. There is a pillow bar... More

Love the location: Close to Shibuya Station, but still in a quite area, althought pretty close to the railway. There is a free shuttle to Shibuya station organised by the hotel. Rooms: Small, of course, but very clean. The water has a lovely quality, making the hair and skin so soft. Also nice: Daily mineral water, green tea. Hotel: Very... More

Note: My partner and I have been to Japan several times. In fact, my partner used to live in Tokyo. I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who's somewhat familiar with the city. This hotel is an epitome of great customer service and quality typical of Japanese businesses. AND IT'S AFFORDABLE. ROOM: The rooms are small (typical of... More

Among so many choices in Tokyo, the onsen bath plus the convenience location stand this hotel out. Front line staff speaks English well with no problem in communication. However, it was so full and it was very packed during breakfast time.

We enjoy the public bath experience and that's the sole reason why we stayed at this hotel. And that doesn't disappoint us. However the downside is the hotel is a bit far from Shibuya, which offers more entertainment and eatery. Especially after a long day walking, you'll have to walk another kilometer to get back is not fun. The hotel... More

Thank you very much for your staying at DORMY INN PREMIUM JINGUMAE. We are afraid that the inconvenience about our shuttle bus service. As you said that we leave the bus in front of our building from the afternoon and wasting it. We keep trying to make our service quality better than ever. Thank you very much again and looking... This hotel is in a great spot - half way between Harajuku and Shibuya stations, so about 10 minutes either way. There is shopping in every direction and plenty of places to eat out. A real perk of this location is that both Shibuya and Harajuku stations have lifts/elevators. If you've travelled to Tokyo before you are probably all too... More

I don't know why many people recommended this hotel, so i decided to try, i booked it for 4 night with friends, and suddenly i found out it's location is between Harajuku, Shibuya and Omotesando, and it's near Meiji Temple and Yoyogi park, what a special location? But not so close to subway station. They gave me a room with... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
