I totally loved this hotel. Such a great mix of kooky japanese extras and classic friendly service. Really comfortable rooms.Lovely beds! I slept so well. Right next to the train track but the rooms are sound proof so it just isn't an issue. Im usually a light sleeper but I woke every morning having slept at least 8hrs straight. The... More

This was my favorite hotel in Japan, both in terms of the location and the comfort. The rooms are tiny, but very clean. The bathroom was stunningly small, but again, very clean. I visited the onsen, which was a nice free touch. The free breakfast was adequate, but fairly underwhelming. The location is awesome. You are steps from Shibuya and... More

Sleep quality: Very hard beds and pillows. Location: Pretty hard to find the hotel even after asking a few locals and a very helpful gentlemen helped to make a call to the hotel. Walking distance to Meiji Shrine, Omotesando and Shibuya. Rooms: Room and shower is extremely small. You will not be able to open two large luggages. Each area... More

Our first hotel in Japan and once we had got our bearings, we realised how well located this hotel was; 5 minutes from the famous Shibuya crossing. Breakfast was fine and the shower was great, especially after a long day.

My most recent stay in this hotel was in late July during steamy hot summer time as solo traveler. The hotel location was great for exploring Tokyo's various neighborhoods beyond the usual touristy areas, which I did by biking. The hotel offers free bike rental, and it's electric bike. It really helped during the hot summertime so that one did... More

Great little hotel in a perfect location. Free noodles every night! Rooms are small, but it's Japan so that's normal. Staff are very friendly, and there are vending machines on every floor. Walking distance to many things and a subway station 5 minutes away.

It was a nice place for one night, I could not have stayed longer. It had a TINY room and I was in a double. It is also located right next to a rail line that was loud all night. Since I was only there for one night it was fine but I felt incredibly claustrophobic the while time I... More

Thank you for staying with us! But we are sorry for the rooms. Our double bed room is not so big but it is still ordinal size in Japan. We recommend you to stay in a queen bed room or twin beds room. Those rooms are not tiny but comfortable, I guess. We are hoping your next stay could be... More

Hotel Dormy Inn is located rather strangley in een soort of backstreet but this seems to be quite normal for a number of hotels in Japan. But even though the hotel was next to the main JR circle line that was in no way noisy. The hotel is well isolatied with good airco. The personel is friendly and helps as... More

I stayed in this hotel during an extended stopover in Japan. I took the taxi from Shibuya station with all my luggage, it cost me about 700 Y. Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
