This was a great place to stay. The hotel size was pretty good, and bathroom was clean and bright. Staff was excellent, spoke fairly good english to help us out, and would do their best to help us with directions and inquiries. Location was excellent, close to shopping and restaurants and Shibuya Pedestrian Scramble. Overall, excellent stay, I would recommend.

This hotel is located right in the center of Shibuya, within 5 minutes by foot from the station, Shibuya crossing, Spain-zaka, 109, etc. There is a Tokyu Hands Store across from the hotel, which has various home appliances, kitchen goods, and other goodies that visitors may like. The rooms are on the smaller side, but sufficient if you are not... More

In general: Although there was a slight mix up at check in about bed quantity (we had to have 2 and they had us in a double room), we have nothing but good things to say about Unizo Shibuya. This was our second trip to Tokyo and the first trip we stayed in a quieter area which was great so... More

Price - Rating: 3/5. The price is rather expensive given the size of the room, barely can move around if you are traveling with 2 people and 2 luggage bags. I would recommend to stay at western hotel chain instead, where the room is bigger/spacious (Please check on Citadines, Shinjuku). I arrived at the hotel at around 1pm and the... More

As I have previously lived in Tokyo, I knew not to expect a large hotel room. Hotel Unizo was definitely cozy, clean and absolutely in the heart of all the action. I had a single room which lacked storage space but I managed to find places for my clothes. I was very happy with the price as it was very... More

Good price/experience ratio. Good location for shopping in a nice area. Small rooms for american standard but still reasonable. Cozy place for breakfats. Third partu operated within the hotel building (around US$10 per breakfast)

I stayed here on March while I came to visit for 10 days Tokyo by myself. The hotel that I had booked didn't have some days available so I moved here for two nights. It was terrible! Like disgusting terrible! I can say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life, and I am not picky. The... More

Well, I only gave 3 start, because with small work the hotel could get 4. The lobby looks really nice and gives the hotel an expensive look. The rooms are modern and everyway ok. Single room is pretty small, but that is what you get in Japan. I would say the only problem I had, was that there was pretty... More

Usually for Shibuya area hotel are mostly expensive but Unizo price are really perfect for the area. Walk from station about 15mins but which I think are not too bad because lots of restaurant shop and many thing too check out. RIght by the hotel there are bars that you can go get a late night drinks. My flight leave... More

The price was lower than other major hotels but this hotel was very clean/newly and convenient. The room is tiny as usual in the big city but it was enough to me coz very clean! If you stay in Shibuya a lot, I recommend this one. If you use the Shibuya station then go to other cities everyday, it take 10... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
