Good price/experience ratio. Good location for shopping in a nice area. Small rooms for american standard but still reasonable. Cozy place for breakfats. Third partu operated within the hotel building (around US$10 per breakfast)

I stayed here on March while I came to visit for 10 days Tokyo by myself. The hotel that I had booked didn't have some days available so I moved here for two nights. It was terrible! Like disgusting terrible! I can say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life, and I am not picky. The... More

Well, I only gave 3 start, because with small work the hotel could get 4. The lobby looks really nice and gives the hotel an expensive look. The rooms are modern and everyway ok. Single room is pretty small, but that is what you get in Japan. I would say the only problem I had, was that there was pretty... More

Usually for Shibuya area hotel are mostly expensive but Unizo price are really perfect for the area. Walk from station about 15mins but which I think are not too bad because lots of restaurant shop and many thing too check out. RIght by the hotel there are bars that you can go get a late night drinks. My flight leave... More

The price was lower than other major hotels but this hotel was very clean/newly and convenient. The room is tiny as usual in the big city but it was enough to me coz very clean! If you stay in Shibuya a lot, I recommend this one. If you use the Shibuya station then go to other cities everyday, it take 10... More

I usually don't stay in a cheap hotel but I had to make a last minute trip and my usual hotels were all booked up, so I decided to give the Unizo Shibuya a try because I knew the location was good. I knew how small a single room was at about 15m2 but what makes the room claustrophobic is... More

Pros: The hotel is very central and very convenient especially for first time visitors to Tokyo. Short distance to Shibuya station and many restaurants around. Free and reliable wi-fi. Clean accommodations. Cons: rooms are very small but I guess it is standard size in Japan. Service is ok mainly due to little/no English spoken by the staff. The willingness to... More

This place is either fairly new or freshly renovated, we stayed on a boys trip here for a few nights, the twin room wasn't massive but definitely a decent size for japan , bathroom was clean and not the usual preform, and under a km to the JR Shibuya station

A typical Japanese business hotel, this property is very clean and well maintained, with excellent staff. The location is great with plenty to see, do and eat nearby. It's about a 5 minute walk from Shibuya station (Hachiko and the famous scramble crossing).

Granted, that might be the theme of visiting Tokyo as the Japanese seem consistently annoyed with your presence, but I didn't expect to feel that way at a hotel... Where I'm paying an exorbitant amount to stay. We had a little trouble communicating that we had already paid and they just insisted on running the card instead of asking the... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
