This hotel was very helpful and friendly. The room was a great size - we had a no smoking double room - it had a little entry way with a fridge and washing machine and the bedroom was separated by another door, which helped keep it silent. There was a desk and two chairs and a balcony - much larger... More

Stayed for 6 nights in October. Tokyu Stau Shibuya is pretty much an 'apartment style' hotel, which explains the surprisingly huge rooms (by Japanese standards). Everything was perfectly clean, with fast wifi and lots of amenities (including a small stove-top!) to use. From memory, if you stay less than 7 nights they will make the bed and replace your towels... More

Stayed for three nights in my first visit in Tokyo. Actually there was a mistake in the reservation through the Tokyu hotels platform, (probably my mistake) and instead of making a reservation in Tokyu Excell Shibuya, I made a reservation for Tokyu Stay Shibuya. Though it has a significantly lower price the Tokyu Stay Shibuya provided a very nice stay.... More

Stayed here for roughly 1 week and the room was spacious with everything you need for short term stays. We even left for 3 days to Kyoto and they very kindly held our luggage and delivered it back to our rooms for our second stay. It is just outside of the hustle of shibuya so you can get a quiet... The Pluses - Ended my 2-week Japan work trip in Tokyo and needed some quality rest after being on the road for most of the time, the spacious Tokyu Stay Shibuya was just what I need. The rooms are the largest I've had in Tokyo and Japan. The hotel is a service apartment-type / long-stay hotel. Comes with an attached... More

A good standard of accommodation at a reasonable cost. The hotel is well located for Shibuya Station, however the walk may not be suitable for all, especially if you are hauling luggage and bags. Do your homework on how to find the hotel as this could be a challenge. The hotel website gives very good pictorial guidance for the routes... More

I def recommend this hotel, the room is spacious enough for solo traveler, and 5 mins walk to Shinsen station (1 stop to Shibuya station) and 10 mins walk to Shibuya crossing. Very close too to Shibuya City Mark for bus station to airport. The area loads with convenience stores. The hotel offers great breakfast, free coffee anytime you want... More

This is a nice hotel in a fantastic location. If you are going to stay in Tokyo, Shibuya is where you want to be. There is a very vibrant nightlife with plenty to do. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfast was good. It is walking distance from the train station. Wifi worked well.

It's a nice long stay hotel not super expensive and very closed to all accommodations. The employee are polite and the place, nice and clean. You have all you need in the room, as kitchenette and washing machine. Like it and will go back there!

Hotel is a 'long stay' style hotel, and much of the way that things are set up represents this. Fast checkin and room access. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, and very clean rooms. Room space is very small (especially considering the price) but in my room was a cooker, washing machine and microwave which helped justify the lack of... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
