Good price, good location for Haneda Airport, All in good order: Everything was fine for a 8 hour stay between flights. I spent about $8 usd more and got a "deluxe" capsule. I thought it was well worth it. Be advised the Inn is located one street south of what is shown on the map here (and on most hotel... More

People who commented how good ooo ahhhh over Capsule Inn Kamata must be their first time visiting Japan. First it took me one hour to search upon arrival at Haneda. There isn't any clear signages on how to get to the hotel from Kamata JR. Does it appear right in front of your eyes the moment one exits from Kamata... More

I booked the premium capsule with the private space via 3rd party booking sites that said only a couple remained. However, after staying for a night, I see that about half the capsules were still unoccupied so give them a call if you see it full. Both the floor in general and the bathrooms were very clean. Your shoes are... More

My time in the Capsule in Kamata was an experience which sticks with me throughout my three month solo expedition down Japan in 2014. I had been walking for almost two months, starting in Sapporo, down to Tokyo, climbed Mount Fuji and then began my walk again and ended up here for a well deserved rest. As I was on... More

I stayed here because my flight arrived too late to make it to my final destination and I had to get back to Haneda in the morning to get the bus, so cannot comment of location relative to any Tokyo attractions, restaurants etc. Very close to a station, although there is a station on another line a 5-10 min walk... I arrived at haneda at around nine to ten. The inn is located near keikyu kamata station which is near the airport. Overall a reasonable stay. The inn had a public bath(sauna and onsen) and basic services were included. Good place to stay for a stop over

Clean capsule beds, location accessible to the JR station, food establishments nearby. Lockers are beside the capsule beds so you can leave your stuff easily. It's relatively cheap and a great value for the money. There's also an onsen if you want to relax. It's a really convenient capsule hotel. I have no major complaints except for the fact that... I have stayed here numerous times before catching a flight the next day from Haneda Airport, which is located less than 20 minutes away. The staff occasionally seem flummoxed to see a foreigner walking in, and are usually relieved to find that I can handle the check-in process in Japanese. That said, I'm sure non-Japanese speakers with some patience would... More

This was my first capsule hotel stay experience. I arrived around 715pm via SQ011 from LAX-NRT. My connecting flight to Kyushu from Haneda wasn't until the following morning so I needed a place to stay overnight near Haneda. I found this capsule hotel after doing some digging...it is located down the street from the JR Kamata station so it was... More

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
