Spent one night as I was going to Haneda airport the next day. Finding the hotel was easy from the train station. The room was small with a window that looked out on a wall. The surrounding area had shops and restaurants. To get to the airport there was an airport shuttle bus which cost Y280.

This is a much better hotel than I stayed last time close to disney. this one right next to the Kamata JR station which gets me to anywhere in no time. Staff is friendly and they understand english (at least my request) well and they are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and nice with window that i can open.... More

Air con not working, room had cockroaches and staff unhelpful. My girlfriend was not feeling well from the heat and reception refused to give her a glass of water, they made us buy a bottle from the machines. We stayed at 5 different hotels in Japan, all were at the same budget, this one was the only disappointment

For international flights that arrived at Haneda Airport after 11pm, I would suggest, to stay at this hotel. This hotel was near to airport and easy to get a public transportation. From airport, just take bus to Kamata (¥220 perpax). Kamata is a last stop. From there, just walk around 350m to arrived at this hotel. By this way, it... More

Stayed there for 10 nights, also my based hotel for travelling around Japan. The room was comfy and cozy for a single person. Alot of food shops and konbi around the location. The hotel has many vending machines and simple buffet breakfast.. if you are landing in Haneda, it is very convenient.. VERY.. less then 1/2 an hour away from... More

My daughter, a friend and I stayed here on our first 4 days in Tokyo and what we first observed was its great location to almost everything. From the train station, bus station and to different affordable restaurants and shops at the area.We were informed beforehand that the rooms in Tokyo were small.Unfortunately, we were not prepared to stay in a... Went here straight from Narita Airport. Very easy to locate since it's near Kamata station. There were lots of stores like Family Mart near the hotel. Nothing special about it. If you're looking for a place to just stay for the night, this may be it. The buffet breakfast was also so-so.

This was our second stay at the same hotel, and you may find my first review posted in February 2013. We stayed for three nights, arriving after midnight from Haneda Airport. It was around 12:30am, and we were glad that trains and airport shuttles were still available. The hotel has a convenient location and there are plenty of connecting options... More

I stayed in this hotel last June. So, I know the location, which made me feel the hotel was indeed very close to JR Kamata Station: after getting off the train, I was at the hotel reception within 5 minutes or so. Not much very scary, yet not very comfortable, I noticed kind of weird people (ladies) were standing along... More

By far the smallest room (and we had a few!) we had during our 3 week stay in Japan - we could barely move with our luggage in there as well! Was disappointed with this hotel - was nothing like the pictures advertised and not as good as most of the reviews I read suggested. Positives: Close to the JR... More

Staying in Haneda / Kamata

Neighborhood Profile
Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many hotels popping up with the increase in international flights. It’s also an area that offers many shrines and temples with ancient origins including Anamori Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is visited by more than 300,000 people in October's Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata station is lined with restaurants and is lively until late at night. In particular, it’s known for the large collection of tasty gyoza specialists.
