I'm writing this towards the tail end of my stay at this hotel. I must say that I am very disappointed with the hotel. 1. My main complaint, as has been pointed out by a few other reviewers, is that it is not really all that clean. The stained carpets in the hallyway are really bad..just a bad impression if... more

I was excited to be staying in a new hotel opened June 2008. But arrived at the main hotel only to be told I was in the Roppongi ANNEX. Only a walk away, here's th map and by the way you cannot check in until 3 pm. On arrival I see it's the old Roppongi Prince Hotel where I have... more

so this place used to be a branded hotel, but is about to be demolished... it's adminstered by the hotel over the road (that would be a four lane highway, folks, you're not wandering over to shoot the breeze!). you get big rooms by Tokyo standards; very fast, free, internet; a very good price; a fairly good location if you... more

The reason I love this hotel is that it is quiet, its location is awesome, its comfortable, and its always cheap. When you search other hotels in Tokyo you're hit with $400 and up for something decent to nice. The Villa Fontaine is basic, but undeniably comfortable, big rooms for Tokyo, clean, SUPER quiet at night (which means great sleep),... more

Huge room. Very comfortable bed and sheets but pillows a little hard. Fast internet. Good walking or staggering distance to and from Ropongi nightlife. Was snowing when I was there so cant comment on pool. Breakfast was unusual if you are used to western style breakfast. There was homemade bread and a big pot of simmering pork and veggies every... more

Villa Fontaine Roppongi Annex was referred by a friend living in Tokyo as an inexpensive lodging option, close to metro and all the Roppongi hang-outs. I wasn't asking for much, having stayed in Tokyo before and being accustomed to small rooms and minimal amenities. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the bigger room, and the bed was amazing - with... more

We wanted to stay in a mid-range hotel because in Tokyo, let's face it, spending up big on accomodation is a waste because there is soooo much to do in the city so you should be out! Nevertheless, for the price (we paid about AU$120/night for a standard double) we got a room with a king size bed and plenty... more

I have read the following in wikitravel before making a booking: "Formerly Roppongi Prince, this is a Western style hotel that is significantly closer to the nightlife than the Tokyo Prince Hotel. Rooms as of April 2006 were running about $120 USD per night. Full queen size beds available, rooms look contemporary with ambient lighting and accent walls. Most importantly... more
