Our stay was one of those rare occasions where a hotel scores top marks in every category. We liked everything - the location for transport, shopping and culture (three train stations in easy walking distance - 10-15 min), Tokyo Tower/Zojoji temple, Hamarikyu Gardens and Ginza also nearby.- very good restaurant with generous buffet - exceptionally friendly and attentative staff. And... More

The Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italian-gai is easy to get to from both NRT and HND airports. Take the Keisei Sky Liner from NRT to the Daimon stop or the monorail from HND to the Hamamatsucho stop. Walk five minutes to the hotel. Renting global wifi at the airport was great. It was under $10 per day and kept us... More

Nice hotel in a nice neighbourhood! 5 minutes walk to subway station. Close to train station which takes you to Tokyo Big Sight exhibition. Rooms were clean and nice. If i need to find something bad it should be the view from the room, the window was facing a wall on the next building. Will stay here again!

The location of this hotel was perfect: 10 minutes north of Daimon Station, 10 minutes East of Onarimon Station and 7 minutes south of Shiodome/Shimbashi Station. It has the Lawson convenience store next to it, the Hamarikyu Gardens 5 minutes away and small eateries surrounding the hotel. The price was reasonable for a 3.5-4 star hotel, with a medium sized... Very impressive when reached the hotel room. It was spacious especially we have 3 pax in a room and the room was clean and neat . The location maybe slightly far but with the space we get for the room - worth the extra few minutes walk! Only set back is the sound proof maybe be as good ppl walking... More

The hotel is located close to the JR lines stations (Hamamatsucho) and some places of interests are in walking distance (Sengaku-ji Temple, Tokyo TV Tower, Rainbow Bridge) or on JR lines (Shibuya). We haven't booked breakfast, but the rooms were spacious enough with all the necessary equippment. The room has even a office table and the electricity convertor for Japanese... More

I agree with previous review that considering hotel is in Tokyo, the front desk staff struggled with English & were not as friendly. However, it was a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. For future travellers: the closest train station is Hamamatsucho, not Shimbashi. Also loved that guests have access to public bath. A must try although I would have... More

I suppose this was a decent hotel for the money however much improvement is needed before it can be considered a 4 star business hotel. First off the staff struggles with English, I'm aware it is not their first language but almost all business hotels in the area have someone that speaks English. This made checking in difficult and when... More

Overall hotel is ok - clean, tidy rooms, amenities, etc. My biggest problem with this hotel is the noise leaking in from the windows. You can hear the trains arriving, noise on roads, cars on motorway, construction workers, sirens late at night, etc. It's as if the window is open. They have tried to resolve this by using double padding... More

Nice room, and surprisingly quite big for Japanese standard. We had enough place for our luggage, the is a convenient store just under it. Wi-Fi in the room. Very easy to find, walking distance to the Hamamatcucho train station, and the Diamon metro station. We rented for New Year eve so the price was very high , but we could... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
