this is a clean budget hotel near ginza, the area of the hotel is very nice with several restaurants and cafe's in the area, however it is quite a walk from the near by station, it will take your around 10 minutes to get to it, the hotel is clean and staff are friendly, however there is a major issue... Clean, comfortable and peaceful. A little off the main street which suited us in terms of noise/traffic. Really close to a central train station making commuting to other places really easy. Staff are professional and friendly and very accommodating in terms of speaking English/phoning taxis and so on. Very good value for money. Wifi a little dodgy but possibly due... More

We stayed for 7 nights. The standard double room was spacious, enough space for our two suitcases. Enjoyed the in-room complimentary drip coffee. Room was carefully cleaned daily. Front desk was helpful and accommodating. The staff recommended a nearby yakiniku (Niku Man) restaurant that gave us a very enjoyable evening. There are also many cozy soba/udon eateries within walking distance.... More

I feel this is a budget hotel, it's ok but not great. Rooms are clean but small, beds not very confortable. There is a small restaurant by the reception where you can have breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet area, and there is absolutely nothing of interest nearby. You can walk 5 min to the nearest station where you... More

Very Noisy , clean , all beds no space for luggage , small bed room , small bathroom , long check in , the food was a little good. 10 min. walk to the train Station. Little far for the train Station. Good view , it smelled bad. This cannot be for 45 years old and above. If your 45... More

Traveling on business, this hotel felt like a cozy apartment to me. Comfortable-enough bed, desk area (with bookshelf and decoratives near), small fridge with complimentary water, hot water kettle and teas, and nice modern bathroom. Elaborate breakfasts included traditional and European/American fare. A convenience store around the corner was great for water and workday snacks.

in fact it is only 8 minutes walk from monorail terminal, JR station and metro if you know the way. it is quiet, comfortable and the area is quite unique in the busy tokyo business district. The surrounding has its unique european small town feel. Personally I enjoy staying there.

Hotel was great. Peaceful community and very accessible to taxis. A couple of minutes away from Hamamatsucho station. Also very close to Ginza. Front desk wAs very helpful and they try their very best to assist you even if they dont speak fluent english. Breakfast was basic and it served both italian and japanese. In other days, we ate breakfast... More

We visited during Hanami (Cherry Blossom) viewing season so accommodation was EXTREMELY (ridiculously) expensive Tokyo wide. We ended up booking through a Japanese website as other (Non Japanese) online sites were overly expensive. We stayed at the Mitsui Garden Shiodome Italia-Gai hotel which is within walking distance (5mins) of Hamamastu-Cho Station which has a direct monorail line to Haneda Airport.... More

The location is just midway of JR/metro stations which means 10+ mins walking distance in either way. It is hard to say it remote and inconvenience but there are hotels at better locations of similar room rate. The room itself is very good allowing reasonable space for us. It is equipped with both in-room free wi-fi and wired Internet.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
