This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel. First time bringing the wife for a work/casual trip. Love the convenience of this hotel located right in Mid-town (shopping mall) making it convenient for the wife to get acclimated to Tokyo being her first time there. Extremely spacious room and bathroom and wife loved the his and her's sinks. Staff... More

All parts of our stay at this hotel exceeded our exectations, which were high. They really made an effort to make us feel welcome and after the first day, they knew our name and preferences, always willing to assist in a warm and friendly way.

My family and I stayed a week at this hotel. Reservation service was excellent and the hotel assisted with transport arrangement before we arrived. We were greeted at the airport by the hotel staff and upon arrival we had guest service staff escorted us all the way to our rooms. Our rooms were bigger than expected, very clean and the... More

My wife and I stayed here during our stay to Tokyo in July. The hotel lobby is located on the 45th floor of the hotel. The downstairs staff quickly took our bags out of our taxi and brought them to our room for us. The front staff was helpful, but did not go out of their way to be overly... More

My family of 4 stayed in a Club room in May for one night. I have to say this was the best stay during our week-long visit in Japan. We came from Mt. Fuji, and arrived at Ritz-Carlton around 11am, and our room was not ready. But the front desk and club lounge staff were very nice and friendly, and... More

I travel a lot for business and pleasure (at least 10 times a year for the past 25 years) and this is one of the 3 or 4 best hotels I have ever been too, and the nicest Ritz-Carlton I have ever been to (beating San Francisco, Beaver Creek (CO) and Naples (FL)). The service is amazing - top notch... More

I recently took my family on a trip to Japan and we stayed in 3 different hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto. The entire trip was wonderful, and everyone we met were as nice as they could be. The Ritz Tokyo continues to be my favorite hotel in Tokyo. Rooms are spacious and service is attentive. Their gym is also a good size and, if interested, has a good jogging course around the hotel. The hotel is situated in Roppongi hence very convenient for shopping & dining. Even if your work place is in Otemachi Financial District, a... More

This is a nice luxurious hotel -- closer to the new Roppongi business district than truly downtown (Marunouchi). This is also a nice area for a holiday stay. Close to the midtown shopping center and Roppongi hills accros the highway.

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
