Wonderful hotel in an area close to businesses and government. Rooms were large and bright; the bathrooms outstanding. Some logistical challenges as lobby is on 50th floor, access to shops and building is a walk through a maze which is not well marked. Be prepared for a very expensive experience. The prices at the Bar and hotel restaurants are very... More

The Service was excellent. The views from our room on the 49th floor was amazing. We were able to get a picture with a rainbow in the background and overlooking the skyline of Tokyo. The Sushi and brunch presentation was above par. Well recommended.

I have stayed in many Ritz Carlton in my life but this one is by far the best. Location is perfect, right at the top of Midtown Tower, top level shopping, great cafés and entertainment on Tokyo´s high end shopping mall. The hotel is very classy and has a very nice decor. The rooms are great, I stayed at the... More

I was impressed with the guest rooms and common facilities. The guest rooms were very spacious, high tech (control panel for your toilet!!?), and comfortable. The gym, restaurant and lobby bar were all large, yet broken up so that background noise was never a problem. Expensive, but a very nice hotel.

My family recently took a trip to Tokyo, and we chose this hotel over Tokyo's plethora of luxury hotels for it's location. Situated at the heart of Tokyo Midtown, it is a block away from the clubs and stores of Roppongi and has an entrance to Tokyo Metro's Oedo line right in front of the building from which you can... I stayed at the Riz-Carlton Tokyo for a week in May 2014. The hotel has everything that you would want from an international hotel - large, comfortable rooms with excellent views, fantastic food and very good service. It also has a lovely bar area in the lobby on the 45th floor. I ate in the restaurant for breakfast every day... More

Treated like a VIP- the staff here is incredibly professional and friendly. The Hotel itself is overwhelmingly impressive! Start with the lobby being on the 45th floor and enjoy the spectacular view of Tokyo! Beautiful decor- spacious and comfortable- the rooms were so fabulous that I didn't want to leave the hotel! The hotel brilliantly located adjacent to midtown which... More

This is not a review as such because I concur with the plethora of 5 star ratings. This is truly an amazing Hotel and a fantastic guest experience, but the following may be of help to potential western visitors. Please check the photos carefully because although the hotel is less than 7 years old, its decor may feel a little... More

In Tokyo, you should look for properties offering expansive skyline views like Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Carlton. We had a dinner at New York Grill on top of Park Hyatt and the view is very impressive but we did not feel like staying there. We were hesitating between Mandarin and Ritz Carlton and decided for the Ritz. The... More

The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo has a staff that makes your stay a delight. Everyone is helpful and courteous. Our room on the 52nd floor was lovely and the view of Tokyo was spectacular. The lobby is so beautiful that you want to spend time relaxing with tea or a glass of wine while listening to the piano. The location was excellent... More
