We had two connected delax rooms on the 49th floor. The rooms were clean and roomy. The view of the city was great although it was not the side of Tokyo Tower. The ventilation noise coming from the bathroom was very loud. And so was the air conditioning noise in the room. The room was very dry and affected our... More

Dear 22Suz Thank you for staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo and taking the time to write your comments about us. We sincerely apologize to bother you by the noise from the bathroom and air conditioning. We checked and found out the noise came from the fan coil unit of the bathroom. The fan slightly touching the cover generated the sound.... More

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was a very good sized room, clean and with all the amenities that come standard at the ritz. The breakfast was a little expensive and disappointing. It was a little difficult to find a decent breakfast in Tokyo and although the hotel had a shopping center attached to it, nothing was really... More

I've stayed at this property twice now in the past 4 months, both times in a club level room. The rooms at this property are very expensive, even by Tokyo standards, but I think this is partially due to location. The hotel, part of Tokyo Mid-Town, is very centrally located, and Tokyo Mid-Town is somewhere you can spend a lot... More

Having been to Tokyo a few years ago, we were planning on staying at the Park Hyatt again, however, we are so delighted we switched and decided to stay at The Ritz Carlton, it was so relaxing, so comfortable and just delightful in every way. We went to the Park Hyatt for dinner and endured poor food and tedius service... More

This elegant hotel provided a highlight of a 5 day visit to Tokyo . The staff is wonderful . Our room was large , beautifully appointed and spotless. The huge bathroom with two sinks was a real luxury . The adjoining upscale mall provided easy access to the metro .

This hotel being located from the 45 to 53 storeys, one can enjoy wonderful view of the down town tokyo on a clear that, and the view is even better for the rooms facing the Tokyo Tower which is located not far away. The service is good and professional although not over the top. The Midtown of which the hotel... More

We had six wonderful nights in the Ritz Carlton, Tokyo Mid Town and cannot praise the hotel highly enough. The room was beautifully appointed with fabulous views towards Tokyo Tower and out across the Bay. The hotel was very easy to get to and well located for access to pretty much everything - short taxi ride from Tokyo station if... More

I stayed at the Ritz during my stay in Tokyo and in general I was impressed by the property. The hotel is very well connected within Roppongi and has some of the best views in Tokyo from the rooms. The staff was very polished and polite at all times as one would expect from a Ritz. However I did feel... More

Outrageously good service - beautiful hotel with every amenity and service. However, the best thing about this Hotel may be the view. Occupying Floors 45-53 of Tokyo's tallest Tower (Midtown Tower), the view of the city is spectacular from every part of the Hotel, including your room. The location is fantastic - within walking distance of sights and neighbourhoods and,... More

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
