Pros: 1. Easy (albeit a little long) walk away from the elements from Shinbashi Station. Just follow the signage to Shiodome area and then look for the hotel name on the signs. It was my first time and I didn't get lost. 2. Spacious lobby, secure keycard-only access to the guestroom elevator lobby. 3. Right above Shiodome subway station and... More

Fantastic location only 5 minutes walk from main station. Rooms very clean, staff very helpful. Internet & Breakfast was included. Although not a huge selection it was adequate and more than enough to start the day. The rooms were small but again more than enough to get a good nights sleep. Beds a bit firm and one side is up... Well located, friendly reception, tiny rooms, good but small bathroom with excellent amenities, breakfast more army or canteen style, with limited choice, but bakery items (croissants, chaussons aux pommes) very good. Subway station complex (very confusing) below hotel, with excellent transport possibilities

This business hotel is reasonably priced with an excellent location close to the city centre and next to several railway stations (that do not create noise). it is very convenient for Haneda airport. Breakfast is self service and offers local and international options.

Bigger than average rooms in Japan, great location with direct access to two train lines and walking distance to Tsukiji Market. Breakfast is complimentary but not a lot of variety if your stay is more than 3 days. The only downside is there is not a lot of good places to eat near the hotel.

This hotel villa fontaine branch is situated at Shiodome, a modern business district, from which gives you easy access to several areas of interest. Tsukiji market is a 10-15min walk. The train stations for both the Oedo Line on the tokyo subway and the Yurikamome line are situated just next to the hotel, giving you a direct connection to Roppongi,... More

Good value for money in good location, no bar or restaurant in hotel and not many nice places to eat nearby except lovely curry house across from front of hotel on the left you can find it on trip advisor, well worth a visit, very cheap also. Hotel breakfast is not bad but not suitable for a western, only thing suitable... More

I arrived in Tokyo on August 13th, 2015 and checked in at the Villa Fontaine at the Shiodome. The lobby is crazy huge. It's quite impressive. However, the room was quite a disappointment. My wife says that's just Japan for you. Minimization and space. I just thought what a contrast between the Lobby and an actual room. No pool/spa or... More

Hotel is good, friendly staff. Neat and clean. Near to train access. Availability of Indian restaurant nearby. But breakfast is almost same everyday. I personally feel more variety to offer in breakfast by the hotel. A comfortable stay for me....

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
