Had to stay twice due to business reasons! This place is dark and gloomy, the lobby turns into a breakfast cafeteria in the morning where horrid food is served on trays, it is like out of a scene from a prison movie. The rooms and furniture are run down and you can smell the hair fat of the previous tendants... More

Great hotel. A little hard to find, but beautiful. The room was spacious (for Tokyo) and very clean. The breakfast was tasty. Great hotel, great price. Got free breakfast booking directly from their site.

The Hotel is perfectly organized. Very good location, close to Shimbashi station(Subway and JR) and Ginza. Very clean rooms, good elevators, free WiFi. Very good breakfast, Japanese and European/American food, buffet style. Money exchange machine available 24 hours. Perfect reception staff.

We stayed here four nights. Everything about it suited us. The staff spoke reasonable English and were very helpful and polite. The location was right on the metro and train lines. We were able to quickly travel to most areas in Tokyo. There is a lovely Japanese park ,one block behind the hotel, where you can also access the river... More

I travelled to this hotel with a group tour. The location is near all the train lines and easy walking to most everything. The daily breakfast served in the lobby is a satisfying blend of Western and traditional offerings. I particularly liked the meatballs and hotdogs at breakfast. My room was surprisingly large by Japanese standards. All toiletries (including hairbrush... More

I always love this hotel because it has everything I need. It's close to Shiodome and Shinbashi stations, has very very fast and free wifi connection, very clean and modern room, vending machine, coin laundry, iron and iron board, the minimarkets and restaurants are in very short walk, breakfast, and Shiseido for the toiletries :) The service is totally amazing,... Hotel Villa Fontaine is a good place to stay. A good business hotel with best access to Trains which makes life simple in Tokyo. You have three stations, one is the Shiodome station which is just under the hotel :) from where you can go to places like Roppongi while you have the mono rail station upstairs and a 10mint... More

We stayed for four nights - a twin room and a double. The twin was substantially bigger than the double so might be best to go for that option if you need a bit more space. Top tip, make sure the bed rollers/casters are turned in as I scraped the skin off my foot banging into the clip. Breakfast was... More
