My boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights in early November. A friend recommended this hotel to us who had stayed there earlier in the year - and a great recommendation it was! This hotel was in a great location to the fish market (a short walk away...if you don't happen to get lost en route!) and another short walk in... More

To start with the positive: the location in Shiodome, with 3 subway lines and the Yamanote JNR all within walking distance, close to Ginze, and very easy access to Haneda airport. With my company's office and plenty of business meetings in the nearby tower, this at least was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, that's where the good news stopped for me. -... More

Stayed in the Hotel Villa Fontaine as part of a student trip that I partook in. The hotel is stunningly gorgeous and extremely clean. Pros: - Location: Right in the middle of tokyo. Walkable to some tourist sites and very convenient in terms of mass transit - Rooms: Gorgeous, big (for Japan) and well-appointed. - Bathrooms: featured Shiseido shampoo and... More

Very family friendly - quiet and well placed. More like a five star! Very traditional breakfast served, monorail, subway and buses at your door. Beautiful parks within walking distance - look for the rooftop walkways in the area.

Having come from a much bigger room at Best Western Astina Shinjuku, the best thing about this place is its location to two train lines, Tsukiji market, Ginza and the views. And of course, that you can hop on the airport limousine next door is always a plus. Warning: the bed is very hard. We asked the front desk to... More

I stayed there for 6 nights for some seminar. The hotel location is excellent and the train station is just walking. We travelled to Ginza, Shiodome, Tokyo and other nearby places and it was easy to travel. The breakfast was included in the tarriff and the spread was very good. I really liked the breakfast and they did not serve... More

Stayed couple night here last time I was in tokyo and enjoyed my time there. I didn't spend much time at the hotel, but when I was in the room I felt very comfortable. Room was pretty spacious comparing to other hotels in tokyo. However I think rooms need updates and breakfast need some improvement. Service at the front was... More

This hotel is a great hotel if you're traveling on business within the surrounding business districts of Ginza and Shiodome. Rooms and bathroom are good sized, considering how typical rooms in Japan go. Staff are friendly and polite. It's about 5 minutes away from the nearest train station and has a convenience store and bookstore close by. Breakfast is not... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
