The hotel is in a convenient location, accessible to 3 subway stations (akasaka, akasaka-mitsuke and though further, roppongi) but there are lots of slopes nearby. The slope leading up to the hotel from akasaka station can be quite a walk so it is recommended to use the lift by the carpark of the tv station. The room was clean though... More

The hotel is relatively close to two different subway stations. It is also close to many minimarts. The staff were friendly. The rooms were pretty good. We booked a twin room instead of a double as it was a bigger room. Still lacking in anywhere to unpack clothing. Nice modern finish to the room though. The breakfast buffet was distinctly... More

Dear Madgelyn, Thank you for choosing to stay at the b akasaka and providing your feedback. I apologize for your disappointment with our breakfast contents. Along with the b standard, we offer well-balanced menus including Japanese and continental selections, however I was disappointed to read especially about scrambled eggs which was sloppy and not warm. I shared your comment to... More

I returned to the b Akasaka after having a great stay during my visit in 2012. This time, I was given with a room that was smaller with a view to the TV station and by the elevator shaft. Noise level was much higher with sounds from door slams, talking tenants, cleaning crew, and the elevator. There seemed to be... More

I stayed here on Saturday night. Many hotels in Tokyo were booked full this weekend as it is time to take the college entry tests that bring many people into the city. My friend who lives nearby booked a room for me. He told me the room would be small, but in addition to the area with the bed, there... More

Booked this hotel after checking reviews through booking.com. We booked in July for 5 nights over New Year and lucky we did. Rates in Tokyo as in most major cities go up. I had a single room which was small but functional. Do not bring a large suitcase. The bed is a good size and not a normal European single... More

We stayed for one night in late November and really enjoyed our brief stay. It's in a good central location, not too far to Roppongi Hills or Tokyo Midtown shopping centres if you need to kill some time before check in like we did. It was only a short cab ride to either of these malls. Despite it's central location,... More

Great location in central Tokyo, accessible to many different neighborhoods (not far by taxi or subway to Ginza, Aoyama, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc). The rooms are small by American standards but not by Japanese, very clean, functional, well designed. Felt stylish. Reasonably good (free) breakfast. Free wifi was so-so, fast during daytime but slow at times in the evening hours. Overall... More

We stayed here two nights at the beginning of our holiday in Japan . This hotel was chosen for us by our tour company because it was close to their office where we picked up our motorbikes. It was a good hotel. Smallish rooms of course but this is in Tokyo. Our room was at the back of the hotel... More

Very nice rooms, very helpful staff and convenient location makes this hotel a very good choice. The location is very interesting: a very quiet area of Akasaka and only a 10/15 minutes walk from the very busy Roppongi. You can find many small restaurants and convenience stores and you can go relaxe in the Midtown park that is about a... More

Our room was 28 degrees with the window open, a couple down the hall were at 30. The staff refused to turn on a/c as against policy but it was on in all corridors and vending machine room - we had to sit with our door open so no privacy - appalling!
