First time traveling to Tokyo, and we choose this hotel afte reading rewies on Tripadvisor. The rooms are small, and there are little place to store your belongings, but this was known to us. Everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly, and speak English. The area has a lot of restaurants just a couple of minuttes away, and... More

We managed to get a great price on this hotel (I think was only a little over 10,000 Yen per night). This was particularly good considering the location, which is within 15 minutes walk of all the Roppongi nightlife. Our room was very warm. They had a sign in the lifts to say that, since it was winter, the system... More

The hotel is in a quiet area but easy accessible within 8 minutes from the closest metro station. Our rooms were small but expected but he beds are too short for tall people. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. At the basement are vending machines and a waking machine. We had a good stay and will choose this chain... More

Excellent location close to Roppongi and Mid-Town, easy to visit everything by walking. Underground station also located in the neighbourhood. The rooms are OK, but the bed-quality is very very poor. We even requested to change rooms, which the staff easily organised, but it seems to be the standard ;( Anyway still OK in terms of value for money.

The hotel is a little out the way of tourist attractions, but there is only a short 5-10 minute walk to three different metro stations, with the Ginza, Oedo, Hanzomon and Chiyoda lines accessible. This makes it very easy to get to virtually anywhere in the city. The hotel is at the top of a hill so be prepared for... More

Love this chain of hotels as it is very child friendly! Travelling with a 6 month old baby and a 2 year old can be quite interesting at times! Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Close to the train station. about 10 minute walk up the hills :) Great exercise! Laundry service came in handy with all... More

Really liked this part of Tokyo....close to Shibuya etc. Breakfast was good, and the coffee machine a real bonus. The staff gave us some good tips for local restaurants. The best rate is via the hotel website.

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. I am not going to gripe about room size as this is Tokyo and anything larger than this is a bonus, unless you want to pay premium. The staff was pleasant and the hotel pretty quiet. The wifi was complimentary and had a pretty decent speed. I thought the room... More

The b chain in Japan have been recommended by numerous friends and they were right. The staff are cordial, professional and efficient and speak excellent English. Small but stylish rooms, no bath but a shower - a great shower. Like a good NY hotel room but with Japanese touches. Location is great - quiet neighbourhood, short walk from the main area around Akasaka. Good buffet breakfast.

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
