This hotel is small enough to provide personalized service and in a great location, just up the hill from Akasaka Surcus, where there are events and entertainment most weekends. First time there, it can be a little tricky to get to, but once we got our bearings we found it handy to lots of reasonably priced restaurants and not far... more

We stayed in B Akasaka for four nights after we read nice reviews, and overall we were quite satisfied with the hotel. The positive sides: 1) Nice and clean room 2) Free coffee at reception (and does not taste bad either) 3) Free internet (we also could have free wifi in room, which is very rare for Japan, but we... more

I would definitely stay here again! in fact we tried to get back here for a night, but it was booked. We stayed at "The B" for 4 days in August during a trip to Tokyo. The B is located up the hill next to the TBS building in Akasaka. Right off the Akasaka metro station stop. There's a great... more

We read many reviews before booking on Trip Advisor before booking and that was one reason for going ahead with our booking, along with the cheapest rates for a hotel of this quality on Wotif.com (we paid 8500 yen for double/twin). The Akasaka area is VERY quiet, clean and a welcome surprise after a long flight. Make sure you take... more

I chose this hotel based on the reviews here and wasn't disappointed. I booked a double room from the hotels website couple of months in advance and considered the price very good comparing to most of the hotels in Tokyo. The hotel is behind TBS building. If you go beside TBS building, there's some steps and high rise which can... more

This was the forth hotel out of ten we stayed at during our trip to Japan. Our budget was 10000 Yen per night. We stayed at the B Akasaka because we were able to get a great rate. The hotel is pretty hard to find, but is in a very pretty (some would say sanitised) area. The staff were a... more

This hotel was good value for money. The small rooms mean you certainly need to be on very good terms with the person you're sharing with, but it still feels stylish and I guess you can't expect much spare space in Tokyo. Plenty of amenities 5-10mins walk away, but the calm streets around the hotel are refreshing in a city... more

I booked five nights here through hotels.com for around $110 per night. The Akasaka area is great, plenty of places to eat with very varied cuisines. There are almost as many Italian, Spanish and French places as there are noodle and sashimi restaurants. It's quite a business-oriented area close to the tall Biz Tower, which also means a good supply... more

I'd never stay anywhere else in Tokyo. The B Akasaka is stylish, affordable, ideally located and has free coffee and net access around the clock. The B Akasaka takes a little hillclimb to reach by foot, but is surprisingly tranquil whilst being in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world. I'd recommend to take a cab... more

I've just spent a week at the B Akasaka and am very happy with the stay. After reading all the reviews about the tiny hotel rooms and beds in Japan, I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend the rooms for singles. The bed is amply sized and there is obviously no issue with the lack of privacy in the... more
