The Hotel Avanshell Akasaka was one of my best hotels ever. The place where it stands is really convenient, and the rooms are huge. I guess that this is the biggest hotel room I’ve ever been. If you are Japanese, you might really love this huge roomed hotel. There, there would also be a morning breakfast, which is a buffet.... More

my partner and I booked this hotel after our original hotel cancelled on us the day before arrival. we were pleasantly surprised to find the room and bathroom to be very large (almost unheard of in japan) it was basically like a suite. the bed was on the hard side but still comfortable. the only english speaking channel on the... I think the owners finally realized the value of what they have in this hotel, its generous room sizes and location. As many reviewers have commented in the past, this hotel is a gem in Akasaka. Reasonably priced and great location just around the corner from Akasaka station. The hotel has confirmed that it will close for renovations in the... More

Although the hotel lobby is very small and hotel itself a little bit old, but the size of the room is big and the location is just nearby the Metro station. Will stay here for next time vist Tokyo

Very good choice for stays in the Akasaka area. Nice and helpful staff, but check-in is quite late, 15:00 Good location for Metro and lots of restaurents in the neighborhood. Surprisingly large rooms, western style (which includes beds with enough leg room). Nice and helpful staff, front desk staff speaks decent to very good english. WiFi is quite slow, but... More

Some time ago, I lived in Tokyo for 2 years. And I just loved this city, to the point that it was a heartbreaking moment the day I had to leave. Friends and experiences were so strong that I swore to come back as many times as possible and I managed to do so, between 2 to 6 trips per... More

Let me start with the bad. 1) The smoking rooms feel a bit dingy 2) Not enough wall sockets to plug in and charge your devices 3) The hotel feels a bit old 4) No room service 5) The breakfast place is tiny, and has the same menu everyday 6) The TV has no English channel. But I'll forget all... More

Good place to stay with convenient connections to most major tourist areas without being in one. Plenty of good restaurants to the north and in the nearby train station. Grocery and convenience stores nearby. Some listimgs say on-site laundry, but in reality it is around the block.

A unique hotel popular among foreigners in the center of Tokyo. All rooms are very spacious (>40 m2) apartment-like Suite Rooms (twin room with a living room) yet inexpensive (<15,000-18,000 yen), so I recommend to couples !! No room service, but the staffs are helpful. There are many restaurants around the area. Just a few min walk from subway Akasaka... More
