It's a good typical Japanese hotel which is clean & has complete amenities inside the room & has free wifi everywhere. Service is good & staff are friendly & helpful especially when asked for directions. Breakfast buffet is also typical Japanese fare but yummy with a variety of dishes to choose from. It is close to the Shinbashi station &... More

The TokyuInn was a good hotel, rooms were very clean and as there was three of us in the room found it very spacious. After some confusion during check- in eventually had no problems with the service. A short walk to Shimbashi station allows you to see many things that normally you would miss. Good access to wifi and the... More

The hotel is located in Shimbashi area, best way to reach is either by Narita express to Tokyo Station and then onto Subway to either Shimbashi (15min walk) or Toramonon station (10min walk). I would suggest against using taxis unless you have no other choice or simply can afford it! The room was clean and compact as i expected from... More

I have just returned from a 6 day night stay in Tokyo and for the price we paid, I wasn't disappointed with the Tokyu Inn hotel. The hotel is in a good location with three subway stops all within a 10 minute walking distance. We often used the Ginza line so having Toranomon on the doorstep was extremely useful. If... More

We had a double room booked at a cheap price and we got a 16.2 sq.m. room in the new wing. With all our luggage (2 strolleys and 2 backpacks) we had just enough space to stand around. However since we were outside most of the time, did not mind it. The place was clean and had very good LAN... More

Having spent a pleasant week in Tokyo, staying in a very small but comfortable room at the Tokyu Inn, we needed to use the laundry service on our last day. In the morning we dropped off our laundry and asked if we could pay upfront, to which we were told was not possible. Upon collecting our laundry we were footed... More

Booked a double room for a very good deal but realized you really get what you pay for. Room was really small, I assumed these were just the norm for business hotels in Tokyo. Didn't sleep well in a semi double bed, felt cramped. Would have been perfect for one person but not two. Room was clean though and the... More

I had the pleasure of staying here with my parents from 27th February - 8th March 2014. The staff were really friendly and when you give them a chance they go the extra mile to find out all information in English. The rooms are very Asia city style. The bathrooms have everything you need so if you do forget your... More

We stayed here for 4 nights with kids, and found it a very nice on the whole. Rooms were cozy and very clean. I would certainly recommend it for any traveler coming to Tokyo for business or with family. Nice Location - We found it to have a convenient access to several subway (options) systems (5 to 10 minutes walk).... More

The location of the place is not perfect but not bad either. It is a minimum 7 minutes walk from any subway or JR station, but there are many options including shimbashi which has excellent connections including the JR Rapid to Narita. The Hotel has a new wing and an old wing. Rooms apparently differ heavily regarding size, so it... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
