We took the Celestine Hotel due to its price for the days we stayed there compared to other hotels in Tokyo. However we did not take its location into consideration. Directly next to the NEC Corporation supertower it maybe is perfect for business travelera, and also its proximity to the Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace (sort of) is good... More

I found the hotel to be up to the international standard - you get everything you normally expect in a "standard" quality hotel around the world. Nice Japanese hint comes with with thoughtful choice and presentation of the skin/hair care products in the bathroom, nice choice of Japanese/Asian choices completing "European" choice for the breakfast, superb level of customer-oriententation of... I first stayed at the "Celestine Hotel" the first week in October 2014 and then again most recently for 4 nights 3rd to 7th February 2015. This hotel is more of a business hotel, (probably used a great deal by people involved with NEC whose HQ is next door), than a tourist hotel but that said it is close (walking... More

For a last minute find this hotel was great! We stayed here for 4 nights and it suited us fine for heading out on days trips. The price was average and the location was pretty useful if you're wanting to explore Tokyo whilst being a bit further away from the rough and tumble of the crowds. The room was a... More

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 and had 2 rooms. The rooms were the standard ones, so were fairly small. Its a large hotel, clean and friendly. We had no issues and I would recommend it. The hotel bar was a bit strange, its just about 10 seats up against the bar, in the restaurant. The... More

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Location of the hotel is within 10 mins walk to Mita station and 15 mins walk to Yamanote JR line. The room is very spacious with in room wifi and king size bed. There were also eateries within 5 mins walk around the hotel. Tokyo tower is about 30 mins walk and... More

We stayed here for 5 nights over New Years Eve. The hotel, was well located near train and subway lines and easy to get to by train and subway from Narita airport. The room was compact but very comfortable, and really quiet with no street noise or noise from other rooms or corridors. The were lots of small eating places and... More

The rooms here are very spacious compared to most in Tokyo. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The subway line is only 1 block away and a cheap way to get to anywhere in Tokyo. We elected to take the bus from the airport so as not to have luggage on the subway. The bus is only 3100 JPY... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
