The hotel is 5 min. from JR Tamachi and Toei Mita subway station. It looks open recently because the facility is new. Though the place is in central Tokyo, the room was enough wide. A lot of amenities are provided. It is enough for business use. APA Hotel group has a lot of hotels inside Tokyo. I once stayed in... More

This hotel was recommended by colleagues in the area. I stayed here with colleagues coming from Korea and China and they all found it pleasant. It's outside Mita subway station and very close to Tokyo Tower, and in our case it was very close to the training center where we were working. The room was small but very clean and... More

This is the first time in staying at the budget hotel chain Apahotel. I'd heard good reviews so was quite disappointed to find the bathroom smelling of ammonia. I had to keep the ventilator on all night to avoid the over powering smell drifting into the tiny room. Ok so I say tiny, but most Tokyo hotels, unless you're paying... More

APA is a good hotel, very clean and in a excellent neighborhood in Tokyo. Close to JR and Metro stations. Their staff is very kindly and there are plenty of good restaurants and pubs around the hotel.

I've stayed at the APA now on two separate occasions and, if you want to stay near the Tamachi (JR) metro (which really is a good location), then you can find better hotels in the area. First, its sort of a long walk from the station. Second, I have yet to encounter any staff that knows even the slightest amount... More

If you've ever stayed in Tokyo hotels you'll know that not many places off very large rooms but the room here for two people really was pretty small but fully featured. It's on a relatively quiet street just a few minutes walk from both Mita and Tamachi stations. Staff were absolutely fine and check-in and check-out were smooth. Provided the... More

Fairly average hotel for an overnight stay. One train stop from Shinagawa, so easy connection and fairly easy to find. Rooms are what one expects for the price range. Staff was friendly and spoke some english. No onsen or buffet breakfast at this APA. Basic overnight hotel.

I think this is my third Tokyo APA hotel I've stayed in. It's a business hotel with small rooms. Here are the reasons why you would stay there: 1) Location; and 2) Clean rooms with quality facilities. If you have money and want a bigger room, try the higher-end chain hotels like the Hyatt or Intercontinental. One thing strange about... More

Stayed in a double room for 3 nights over new year. Did not include breakfast so cannot comment on that Pros: - Location right next to Mita line, which connects directly to Haneda and Narita airport, and easily to Tokyo metro network (Mita line belongs to Toei line network, which is not included in all subway day tickets). - Convenient... My daughter and I spent a week in Tokyo for sightseeing and shopping. We chose this hotel for the price and proximity to the train. Both were excellent. Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
