The hotel is located really close to a subway station, and a few minutes walk from areas like Ginza. The room was fine, I would even say spacious for Tokyo. The staff were friendly, they let us in a little early as we had been awake for who knows how long and they could see we really just wanted some... More

Very clean and comfortable. Rooms were up-to-date and convenient. Great value. I stayed solo - might be tight for two if you aren't used to to small japanese rooms. Great location. One of the better hotels in this price range - especially for such a good location.

Shimbashi station, exit A7 is only 50 m away and is on several lines so access to much of the city is easy. Imperial palace is about 2 km so can be walked. Plenty of restaurants close by. This one, as with all Fresa Inns is clean comfortable and great value for a mid range standard of hotel.

Convenient location at center of city, closely located to Shimbashi Station. Room always clean, free internet in lobby and in room. Everything works well from shower, electric water boiler, mini fridge, tv, and heater a/c. Two bed rooms are good. As hotels are usually small for a good price in Japan, Sotetsu Fresa Inn is a pretty good bet for... More

The hotel is located at the heart of city where you can commute to and from airport by airport limousine. Only one block from the main JR station and you can link up with every part of Tokyo. The room is acceptable and value for money. The only drawback is that it is closed to the railway station which create... More

The price is reasonable, like most hotel in japan, it may be small but cleanliness is no worries. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the shimbashi station. A note to all, the SL square exit is the shortest route to the hotel (just turn right after exiting the metro station).

Tired of third tier Tokyo hotels with their small rooms, I decided to go 'higher style' and, based also on the on-line favorable reviews, I booked this Fresa Inn. It turned out to be a poor decision. The only atout of this hotel is its location, all the rest is standard norm, by which I mean: a) rather basic lobby,... More

I have been staying at this hotel quite frequently; it has a great location ; the rooms are small as in all Japanese business hotels but amenities are sufficient for the purpose they serve. front desk staff is always polite and helpful so the overall experience is good for a short stay.

We stayed here two nights to contrast staying in shinjuku, and better access to the east side of the city. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Closer to 4 star for me! Everything was new, hard to fault it. Super close to the shimbashi st on the ginza line too.

I stayed at sotetsu fresa inn shimbashi-hibiyaguchi with my husband from March 31 to April 6. We chose to stay at this hotel because its location was very strategic, just about 2-5 minutes walk from shimbashi JR and metro station. Although the room was very small, it was very neat, modern and well equiped. Lots of amenities were provided at... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
