By far one of the most dirty and low-quality 5 star hotels I've ever booked! I booked a non-smoking room and got a smoking room - stains on the carpet, black, dirty fingerprints on walls and doors and very dusty. After complaining I had another room, a non-smoking room, which was much better, but still not up to the standard.... More

Wow...what a great hotel. Service was top notch...amenities were exactly what you'd expect for the price...and then some. From our check-in to our late check-out, due to a delayed flight out of Narita...the staff was always very helpful and accomodating. The room was cozy, we had to add another bed since there were 3 of us, but it was perfect... More

You won't find anything more convenient downtown, right across the street from the train station. Staff is friendly, willing to please. Plenty of English speaking staff to help you with your questions. Rooms are large and nicely furnished, but a little overpriced. Shop for deals. Unfortunately, it's one of those old grand hotels that lacks any intimacy. The lobby is... More

I have driven past the Dai-Ichi Hotel in the airport limousine bus several times a year for over twenty years - but never stayed there, never even been inside! But on a recent trip to Tokyo I decided to try it as the room rate was half the price of The Imperial. Well, what a lovely surprise! True the lobby... More

I stayed here for nearly three weeks for business. Overall the staff is extremely helpful, speaks wonderful English, super professional and nice to deal with. Luxury hotel? Not sure. It has a large sized room for such a great location in Tokyo. The provided ammenities, pajamas, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel (shisedo brand) toothbrushes etc are good. I was able to... More

The lounge of the hotel is popular to go drinking for business. The place is near Shinbashi station and landscape at night is good. They are eager to promote to ladies and they provide a special ladies plan with free drinking on OZ mall site.

I find this hotel on booking and I chose to stay because is very good placed near Ginza in Tokyo. Very good position for shopping in Tokyo. Only 5 minutes walking to the main Ginza street. It is a five star hotel and the the personal is excelent. In Japan I find a few people speaking and understanding english but... More

Walking distance to train station and to entertainment area Ginza. A lot of restaurant of all kinds around the hotel. Good bus service to Narita and Haneda. About 3000 Yen to Narita. Takes 1.5 hour. However watch the the time schedule carefully, it doesn't go every hour. Didn't try breakfast this time.

the hotel is good, the rooms are big and the bathroom is well equipped and large, everyone does their best to make you comfortable... so everything a 5 star hotel should have. the location is great, just few meters away from JR lines and Ginza station. But the hotel is outdated, and you can start seeing the age coming together.... More

The Dai-Ichi remains our favorite Tokyo hotel and one of our two or three favorites anywhere. This was the fourth or fifth time we have stayed there. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and speak good English. The location is excellent - two short blocks from the JR Shimbashi station and the Ginza subway line and a little further from... More
