I stayed here while on a business trip. The room was spacious and all the staff very polite. The style is a bit old fashioned but it is easy to get to the Imperial Palace gardens and the metro. The view from the bar on the 21 at floor is well with a visit.

Return trip was better than first stay. Enhancements from previous stay was the wi-fi! Finally in-room wifi was available and one can say good-bye to the cumbersome wifi kit provided previously. International travelers may grumble about the TV channel selection, which is still predominantly Japanese programming with only CNN and BBC available for non-Japanese. Second stay matched the pleasant experience of the first. Daiichi is well located in for access to transport (a brief walk to the Shimbashi Station). Helpful consierge staff with good english and good solutions to greatly assist. The only down side is the noise from the rail, but a minor inconvenience

Not a bad location, though a bit noisy with the trains next door. Completely inflexible staff would only allow a early checkin by 4 hrs with a full night extra charge despite rooms already being ready

We stayed for 9 nights. The location is excellent. A few minutes walk to Shinbashi station which is a major interchange for trains and metros. We stayed at the Daiichi Hotel in Tokyo for 5 nights. We were travelling as a family and had 8 kids in our group. The hotel is not very family oriented as wegot some annoying looks when the kids were a little bit playful. The location was the best thing about this hotel. Stayed in the Dai-Ichi on business, which involved a one night stay then leaving baggage behind to travel north, returning for a further two nights stay. I have stayed at this hotel twice. I will say that for Tokyo,Japan, the room size is pretty good! I had stadard two twin beds and love that their is mini-fridge to put orange juice in.
