All the time we come here for our Business trips and we only can say great location and easy access for me because I'm handicap and use a manual wheelchair. Please try to get a room on premium floor which have access to the Lounge which is small and very nice service.

Booked into this hotel by my company and was absolutely delighted. Nice rooms, I have no idea what other reviewers are saying when they report that the rooms are small. Maybe I was lucky but I stayed in a standard room on the 12th floor which had plenty of room. Great choice of restaurants both in and near to the... More

Took my wife to Tokyo for a Mother's Day get away! I thought staying at a 5 Star hotel would make it an enjoyable time for my wife and I. I have no idea how this hotel is rated 5 Stars. I have traveled the world and have stayed at much nicer 4 Star hotels then this hotel. The staff... More

The Dai-Ichi Hotel is a very clean and well turned out accommodation in the heart of Tokyo. My parents stayed here while visiting me and we went for dinner twice to two of the different restaurants. The meals were both excellent and they even brought out more spider crab legs to the buffet when we were the only table left!... More

Clean hotel, efficient staff and very well located (close to subway and convenience store, restaurants) but hotel must have been 5 star in 80s??! Decor is old fashioned. Rooms are small (guess it's decent for Tokyo standard). Restaurants and room service at hotel are pricey. Hotel too! Neighbouring restaurants are almost always fully booked. Very popular eating out neighbourhood, it... More

The Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo was really a great place to stay. The location is good (close to the tram/subway), the people are friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good (we ate in the restaurant), and the view was wonderful (ask for a high floor with a view of the Tokyo Tower). It is a western style high rise... More

We chose this hotel because it is around the corner from Shimbashi station which turned out to be a great decision. We were central to everything and after a 1 week stay, we found everything to be just a train ride away. The hotel itself is lovely and seemed to be geared toward Ritz style business travel. The rooms, particularly... More

I stayed here for 3 nights following a ski trip in Hokkaido. This is probably the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything is exceptionally clean, comfortable and the food is fantastic (all be it expensive). I would recommend eating out at one of the nearby traditional Japanese restaurants on an evening then retreating to the bar on... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
