Sometimes American hotel brands tend to ignore their surroundings and just plunk their formulaic design and feel into a far off city. If you are homesick for a Sheraton or a Westin then this might be fine for you. But if you would like to see a major brand take the culture and design from the country that it is... More

This was a great stay and experience. Beautiful rooms that seem quite new. Right in the middle of the buzz of Roppongi with bars, restaurants and shops. Club floor is great with breakfast and drinks - staff awesome. Best to get a view of the Tokyo Tower!

This hotel is very nice.. Staff very friendly. Concierge is a little overwhelmed for the amount of guests. Was not able to get us any restaurant reservations to our desire restaurants other than the hotel restaurants. Spa was great. Rooms are nice, love their bathrooms, very creative design and space. Hotel is close to a big shopping area.

Hyatt is always great when it comes to luxury, Very nice toom and excellent location. I could really get an excellent view from my room. The service is great. Sauna is excellent. Breakfast options are awesome. It is very roponggi so great for foreigners. There are some restaurants right next to hotel.

Highly recommended. The rooms are very comfortable with great-sized bathrooms and hugely spacious, luxury baths with a wetroom - the perfect blend of Japan and western style. The fitness centre and spa are both superb - rare for a hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience.

The rooms are looking tired. Great location and service but the rooms even for Gold Passport holders, are smaller than the competition, you can hear through thin walls and the view is ordinary. I expected more from a Grand Hyatt. No Gold Passport continental breakfast and the low floor room, which had no view and was noisy would perhaps been... More

Excellent hotel with great staff. The bed was fantastic. The mark up on the mini bar wine was a bit extreme but everything else was perfect. The bathroom and shower were particularly good - as were the amenities.

I guess Hyatt service is well documented elsewhere but the location and views from the hotel are excellent. The service rooms and staff are all wonderful but dinning on the top floor is an experience to behold with a great atmosphere and an international feel. Far from the crowds below and very relaxing.

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
