We stayed here recently for two nights with a large group of friends. The hotel location is excellent for sightseeing, we were only 10 - 15 minute walk to the major shopping centres and entertainment districts.Rooms were small but clean and included all amenities. Restaurant was ok for breakfast and pricing was reasonable. Overall a pleasant stay and will probably... More

We stayed at the GHT from April 17 through April 21. I am writing this review as I sit at the airport waiting for my flight back- this was my second stay here and second visit to Tokyo I will keep it simple- the stay was flawless. Nothing remotely bad or unpleasant. A couple of tips, if you are a... More

We like to stop in Tokyo on our way to Southeast Asia to get over the jet lag in a peaceful stress-free environment. This year we stopped here and it was perfectly convenient for our short 3 day stop. Everything you need is within walking distance in the Roppongi Hills mall, and there is convenient access to one subway line.... More

We were given our room on arrival, 842 with views over Roppongi. It was a smallish room, with neutral decor, comfy bed, fridge-style minibar and a kettle. The bathroom had a large, deep bath and separate shower and Toto WC. Good fast WiFi. The Club Lounge on the 10th floor was large with plenty of seating and tables. The evening... More

Used to be one of the best in Asia Needs some careful attention. The sense of hospitality once unique there is down to its bare minimum. Where is the attention to details ? I stayed more than 90 nights in the hotel in the past, that stay was one of the most disappointng

We stayed in the Grand Hyatt for a week this April. It's a very clean hotel with nice rooms in a great location. With easy access to two subway lines, getting around the city is super easy and convenient. Food options in the hotel are decent, not our best meals in Tokyo, but not our worst either. There are lots... More

This is by far the best Grand Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at. The location is great! subway stations very close by. The lobby was spacey . Everybody was very pilot and courteous ! Room was also very clean (could be bigger though ) they spoke english very well. I really didn’t expect this from Grand Hyatt since the many of... More

Roppongi is a great, central neighborhood close to shops, restaurants and subway stations and this hotel's rooms are spacious and well-designed. A great home base to have while exploring the city. Highly recommend.

Grand Hyatt Tokyo is conveniently located in Roppongi Hills, amid a variety of luxury shops. It is not so close to a JR train station, so if you purchased a JR pass, you may need to walk for 20-30 minutes to the nearest station. However, its proximity to Shibuya station (about 30 minutes on foot) means that you will never... More

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
