This is predominantly a business hotel, and upmarket, though not quite in the same league as its sister, the Park Hyatt. What you get for your not inconsiderable ¥ is a high quality hotel, clothed in marble and exquisite carpentry. Beyond this is a superb staff that made our 5 night vacation stay a delight. The rooms are largish by... More

Great location, terrific staff, small rooms . Hotel's service is high end, well trained. Area is close to most everywhere you need to go in Western TOKYO, but the rooms cannot compete with the newer hotels in town. Simply too small.

The staff is beyond awesome. Very clean. The concierge room was well supplied with wonderful food and a beautiful view. I doubt I will be back to Tokyo but would love to stay at the Grand Hyatt again. Treat yourself, you are worth it.

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. The room was a reasonable size and the bathroom was luxurious and spacious. It's adjoining an upscale mall and a lot of high end shopping, so there are somewhat limited choices nearby for cheap restaurants or street food. It's easily accessible to the metro station (oedo and hibiya). As a platinum... More

I am often a low profile type of customer as I just go about my own business. I don't have much interaction with the front office staff other than check in- check out and deliveries of parcels to my room. The front office staff following standard hotel SOP and are friendly however, my vibe of them is that they lack... More

Stayed here three nights with a friend. What a lovely hotel! The design is elegant and simple, with a very high level of service. The hotel is right in the middle of Roponngi Hills, near multiple subway lines and things to do. The service was great. We ate one night at the Oak Door and the attention we received from... More

This hotel is run like and looks like a Park Hyatt. I have been to Grand Hyatt's before and this is far and above that label. Clean and well appointed modern rooms and the service is impeccable. French kitchen is excellent as well as Oak door.

An excellent hotel that offers the level of service and sophistication you would expect from Hyatt. Staff are helpful friendly and speak excellent English. The pool and spa are well appointed as are the rooms. The hotel is quite expensive and it feels like it!

It was cherry blossoms time and the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated with the blossoms. The lobby area is simple but lacks character. Definitely functional. The Concierge service before we arrived was excellent. They arranged transportation from Haneda, although very expensive and the cab driver who picked us up asked for more than the hotel had quoted. Taxi service from... More

If your a Hyatt person and on your first trip to Tokyo this is a great location to base your visit from. Coming from NRT via the Airport Limo Bus is simple and it drops you right at the lobby. If your a diamond or in a club room check in in the Club Lounge is simple and straight forward.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi

The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
