Although one will not get overly excited about the rooms in this well located hotel the level of service is above and beyond. Due to unforeseen circumstances it was necessary to change our reservation two times during a very busy period when the hotel was at capacity. Every effort was made to accommodate our changing needs and done with courtesy... More

Rooms are very nice, service is great, nice restaurants (very expensive), decent club lounge, amazing pool (no kids allowed btw). Even the maid service is great because they set up your room the way you want it. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for four nights when we visited Tokyo at the end of 2014 (right after Christmas). The service was amazing, the people were really nice, and the rooms/pool/gym areas were fabulous! The staff was very helpful and friendly and made sure that whenever we needed help getting a taxi, they were there! The rooms were really clean with... More

You'd come to expect a certain level of service and quality from Grand Hyatts and I'm happy to report that Grand Hyatt Tokyo lived up to those expectations! The breakfast buffet was great (a good selection of both western and japanese options), the rooms were spacious (a decent size bathroom), location was quite convenient being in the middle of roppongi... I have stayed at the hotel multiple times over the years. The location next to the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills is excellent. Good restaurants at the hotel and excellent choices nearby. The service is always impeccable. The decor in the rooms looks a bit dated after 15 years.

I stayed in 2 Hyatts in Tokyo (Other being Hyatt Regency) and i must say that the Grand Hyatt was really one of the best hotels I've stayed with. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a lot of modern decor, fixtures and amenities available. The baths was luxurious and the toilets simply amazing. Location wise is pretty OK. Its... More

My stay at the Grand Hyatt was impeccable from check-in to check-out. I booked my stay using American Express' Fine Hotels and Resorts service. Included in the stay was a free upgrade, breakfast for two each day, $125 Food credit, and early(12pm) and late checkout(4pm). My upgraded room had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and was minimalistic, yet modern.... More

We have stayed at both the Grand Hyatt and Park Hyatt but have a preference for the Grand Hyatt as we find the location more convenient. As has been said before, the rooms are good (not great though - indeed Park Hyatt has better quality rooms as you'd expect) and the service is exceptional. We stayed here again in December... More

I stayed in Grand Hyatt in September on a 4 day trip. The Hotel is simply complete in all aspects. Rooms are great, location is excellent. Service was quite efficient and helpful. Pool area could have been slightly better but was certainly not bad.

The Grand Hyatt is by far my favorite hotel in Tokyo for both business & pleasure (followed closely by the Palace Hotel), beautiful spacious rooms with amazing views, excellent bathrooms with huge sunken baths & lots of closet space. The Grand Hyatt offers a vast choice of restaurants, dinner at Shunbou is a must , make sure to try their... More

Staying in Akasaka / Roppongi

Neighborhood Profile
Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
