Shiba Park Hotel's location is perfect! just a short walk to the Hamamatsucho station which can take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. The staff at the front desk are super helpful and friendly and they speak really good English which helped us since we know very little Japanese. Hotel is walking distance to a lot of restaurants... We stayed for 1 night after a late landing. The taxi ride is about 10 minutes. Clean hotel with comfortable rooms (we used the big one with 4 beds), quiet and rather spacious. The staff is professional and friendly. Japanese breakfast very nice but Western one rather poor, with little choice. Despite this we would definitely use this hotel again.

We stay 1 night, great location very close to Tokyo tower. Plenty of local food. Staff at Shiba park hotel very friendly and good English speaking. We would like to thank the duty manager to organise out luggage and taxi to Tokyo station.

We only stayed here one night but the this hotel is within walking distance of some great attractions in Tokyo. The hotel feels like a business hotel and has all the modern amenities one would expect from a good business hotel - such as free wi-fi. The hotel is undergoing some renovations at the moment but it is very clean... More

Close to Daimon station, a number of good value restaurants near and Tokyo tower just a short walk. Staff have excellent English and so helpful. Rooms are a good size, we stayed three days. Breakfast is very good but expensive at about 25 aud buffet.

I was most impressed with the hotel announcement with reassurances following the earthquake on Sat May 30th. Staff were pleasant and helpful in receiving my luggage from Kyoto and ensuring I caught the bus to Narita. The breakfasts were good but I would have enjoyed a bit more variety each morning.

This hotel is great for people travelling with a baby, the staff were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. They set up a very nice cot for our baby and gave us a little baby pack on arrival. The hotel was located about 5 mins walk from two metro stations and about 5-10min walk from a JR line.

As most reviews have said earlier, the hotel is all about location.....and value for money. The hotel is walking distance from the Tokyo tower, and also from 3 metro stations, including Hamamatsucho, which is also the location from where most tours start. The shuttle from Narita airport drops you in front of the hotel, and the monorail for Haneda airport... More

Stayed in a room with three beds which was a bit squeezy. The staff were very helpful and were very good in communicating in English. I locked my keys to the luggage in one of the suitcases and a staff member helped me by cutting the lock with a pair of bolt cutters. Very embarassing. Close to Zojoji Temple &... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
