The Shiba Park Hotel reminds me of another era way back in the 1970's. It has that old worn feeling and is in desperate need of a make-over just like the Rolling Stones ! Breakfast you have two choices with Western style and Japanese. Do yourself a favour and have the Japanese as the setting is nice and the food... More

This hotel is close to the Tokyo Tower and JR. train station and the best surprise was the Le Pain French Bakery Restaurant about 200m to the right of the big temple about 10 minutes walk away. We had breakfast and lunch there and it was like being in Paris. However if you prefer self catering - on many of... More

Very welcoming and friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us! Room was spacious and bed was comfy, but 2 minor things: The air con took about an hour to cool the room down and the only English news channel (BBC World News) was dubbed over but that's not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast the next morning when we checked... More

My son and I stayed at the hotel for 14 days. The nonsmoking room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Fine beds. The English talking receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Very nice that we could get a bus directly from Narita Airport to the hotel. The hotel is placed a few minuttes from Tokyo Tower and a Temple. Many... More

We stayed here for three nights on an Essential Tokyo trip following a cruise. When we arrived by coach from the harbour, there were almost 40 of us waiting to check-in and two members of reception staff on duty, one of which immediately stopped check-in to check-out guests who were leaving. There were two members of management who sheperded the... More

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 night stay here as part of a tour group. Although not large the rooms are very well presented, clean, comfortable and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. The bathroom was a little tight on space but functional and well stocked with every amenity the you would need. Breakfast offered both western or Japanese... More

I was here by my self for 3 nights in April 2014. Clean but the smell of smoke all over the hotel. Room was small but I was fine as it was affordable. Close to the train station, MacDonald. There a pub downstairs which serves genoroues amount of wines. Had few drinks before went out and after got back. Hope... More

We stayed three nights here with a tour group. The location is walking distance to Tokyo Tower and subway lines. The room was small, but the beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. At breakfast they offered a "Western" side and a "Japanese" side. We ate only on the western side and it was good. We... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
