The Park Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The reviews are correct. We stayed for 3 nights early december then left to go to Nagano skiing at Shiga Kogen, we left our unneccessary luggage at the Park and then returned for to the Park for one night on our way home to Perth. The staff were excellent, very helpful, and gave you... More

Tokyo's best kept secret. This hotel was not listed in any of my guide books but I was totally impressed. It was the classic "Lost in Translation" experience I was looking for, but for about 1/3 of the price of the Park Hyatt (and in a much better location than far western Shinjuku where the Park Hyatt is). Shimbashi station... More

We arrived at the hotel around 7pm and were extremely tired from our long flight in from Seattle. The hotel suggested taking the Limousine Bus from the Airport and that worked out marvelously. It cost about $30.00 US for each of us and it took us to the door step of the hotel. I must mention it was extremely easy... More

Stayed here on the way to Australia earlier this year for three days, booked it totally on the strength of reviews on this site and was not let down. Got the Narita Express to Tokyo Station and a taxi from there. Until you have had time to explore the area I would take this approach to the hotel. Underground there... More

This is a great place to stay. Be sure to book a corner room for the view. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out. Before you go do a little backround research into the subway system and print off a map in English. It will save you a lot of trouble. Great staff.

We stayed here from November 1-3, 2008. I have to admit we were a little confused when we arrived at the office building and then we figured out we had to go up to the 25th floor. We arrrive late in the day. Once we arrived on the 25th floor, the view was incredible and there was a pianist and... More

We were in Tokyo for five nights and we spent two of them at The Park Hotel. Lobby and views are impressive but the rooms are a dissapointment - they reminded us of a slightly upgraded Travel Lodge. You can also find same cost hotels in much better locations (with an atmosphere which this hotel has none of). The concierge... More

Booked through Agoda. It was cheaper than the hotel website. We put our bag in the hotel for a few days while we went to other city before coming back to Tokyo. They were so nice to keep our bag. Getting there is very easy by the Yurikamome line. It's actually in a walking distance from JR Shimbashi. But it's... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of a group tour of Japan. Access from Narita was easy - we chose the Keisel line (Y1000 instead of Y3000 for the Narita Express, which only saves 15 minutes) with an easy transfer via the subway system. The hotel is very well situated next to the Shiodome station. It was... More

We stayed at the Park Hotel for a stop over weekend in Tokyo in August. Awesome staff, location and yummy breakfast. We were upgraded to a room with a view! Highly recommend it.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
