I visited the park hotel in may with my wife and 2 young daughters. the rooms have great views and the location is ok as long as you can work out the way to the metro and how to use it with limited english language support! service was polite but a little snooty. A couple of warnings though - 1)... More

The Park Hotel, Tokyo was the first hotel we stayed in over a two week period, the second being the Claska. Both hotels are at opposite ends of the hotel spectrum. The Park Hotel is situated about 5 minutes stroll from Ginza and the Ginza Metro line. The hotel was large airy and beautiful, although we spent most of our... More

hotel in the shiodome area which may put some people off but I loved the whole area, really reminded me of a blade runner set, because its a media area there is loads of street scene technology which gives the place a cool feel. The hotel is located a short walk from the bay front gardens and near to ginza.... More

We had such a fabulous time in Tokyo, and I know part of it was that the hotel was just fantastic! The hotel was a class-act from the moment we checked in. We upgraded to the corner room, which was SO AWESOME, wow, what a view, including Tokoy Tower. This room did have two separate (large) twin beds. After 10... More

Excellent location and a great hotel. 2 metro stations within a short walking distance as well as Ginza area. Away from the busiest areas in Tokyo, but still easy to get everywhere. Frendly staff and the front desk staff speaks perfect english. Would deffinetely stay here again!

This 6 year old hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Their deservingly proud of their hotel's mention in numerous books and magazine's(evident by the staff placing them in the desk drawers), as well as their being voted one of the top fifty design hotels. They also hype their Michelin Star winning restaurant which looked fabolous but I had more interest... More

Very good service, as is the norm in Japan, with a small but clean room. The views from the rooms are very good as the hotel is situated from the 25th floor and upwards, we were on the 27th floor and the views were fantastic. The location of the hotel is in the Shiodome centre and this is predominantly a... More

Stayed here for 5 nights, then another 8 after a week down in Kyoto. It is an absolutely fabulous hotel, nestled on the upper floors of a quintessential Tokyo skyscraper in the space-age Shiodome district. The staff are so discreet yet faultlessly obliging and the lobby of the hotel is breathtaking. I really enjoyed their free internet terminals by the... More

This is the 4th time we have stayed in the Park and would always go back there if in Tokyo. The staff are excellent and the rooms beat but comfortable. If you can get one on the Tokyo Tower side, you might even see as far as Mt Fuji. The location is great being on a number of subway lines... More

We've stayed at the Park Hotel twice and were even more impressed with the service, cleanliness etc on our second stay. Staff are attentive and helpful without being over the top. On our previous trip we wanted to look at contemporary jewellery outlets in Tokyo, and the concierge was very patient and helpful in explaining how to find the various... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
