Great Hotel all round. Great value for the money, everything about this hotel is great, nothing I could find thats wrong with it. Get the larger room instead of standard, the bathroom is quite compact for hotels this class but hey thats Tokyo... the view of the city side rooms were amazing, a bit like the scenes in 'Lost in... I traveled here on business and selected it primarily due to its proximity to my business meetings. I spent three nights here in late August and I enjoyed it. It is an excellent hotel. As most reviews already note, the rooms are bit bigger than you'd expect in Tokyo/Japan. Very comfortable size, elegant, and super clean. I had a King... More

Very nice 4 star hotel with mostly business travellers. Bright, clean and new, with nice new rooms, also with a very good concierge service that we used to make a restaurant reservation, and a terrific buffet breakfast that was good value for Tokyo hotels of this class (2600 yen p.p.) Very convenient spot, only a 3 minute walk from Shinagawa... More

A lovely hotel with good beds and pillows, plenty of space very quiet, excellent blockout curtains, very clean even though we never saw the cleaners. The staff speak English and are extremely helpful. It is a little difficult to find the right lift for reception which is on the 26th floor. If arriving by the Narita Express train get off... More

This hotel is right next to Shinagawa station on the upper floors of an office building. The location is great, the interior well designed and spacious and the rooms modern. I really enjoyed a weekend here. The staff were excellent and the hotel top notch!

I have stayed here a number of times over the years and the service and standards continue to be very high. All staff are very friendly and polite Comfortable modern rooms in a great location close to Shinagawa station and Haneda airport However you pay premium prices for it all but somehow it's worth it. Would recommend it

The Intercontinental Strings is located at Shinagawa just close to the station with all metro lines and the Shinkansen. You enter the hotel on street level but the reception is on the 26th floor. This because the hotel itself is on floor 26-31. The service and welcome was very good, friendly and correct. The lobby and lower level of the... More

This is one the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We considered our room on the 42nd floor to be spacious and luxurious. The atrium lobby takes your breath away, it is stunning. Sadly we were only here for 24 hours but enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is easily access via the Skyway at the East Exit... More

This is an excellent hotel as the attention to detail is superb and its position next to the station (via a skywalk) is fantastic. From the unobtrusive housekeepers who use tiny trolleys that they pull into the room so no one is inconvenienced passing trolleys in the corridor to the excellent English spoken by reception and the concierge you are... We finished a family holiday in Tokyo and after 10 days of travel really enjoyed the luxury and relaxing feel of this hotel. The staff are exceptional, concierge provided daily assistance as we navigated our way around this mega city. The location was convenient given it is right near the Shingawa train station. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast that had... More
