4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

High class reception and lounge. Different restaurant, elegance and good taste everywhere. The rooms are very nice, big beds. Not much room to put clothes for a one week trip, The fitness center is OK. The restaurant is pretty good. Wifi is good and is available throughout the property. Though they definitely need to increase the capabilities of their staff... More

We booked a room and were upgraded to a suite, which was lovely with awesome view of Tokyo. We especially liked its location and proximity to the train station. Dean and Deluca was right next door. We enjoyed the food there. We did not dine in the hotel itself, as we checked in late and had an early flight to... More

I spent a week at this hotel, right near Shinagawa Station. The hotel is located on top of an office building, from the 26th to 32nd floors, so it took me a few minutes to find it. Once you get up to the hotel, all is good. The rooms are really quiet and comfortable. Not much room to put clothes... More

This calm atrium-style hotel is perched on the top 10 floors of of a building in the Shinagawa Station complex, making it convenient for Narita Express, major train service, subways, shops and restaurants. The service is excellent without being intrusive.

The hotel starts on the 26 floor off the building. We had corner room with great views off the city. The room was not so big, but very good. We had 2 seperate beds. The beds are very good. The bathroom had a bath and a shower. And offcourse a great toilet as everywhere in Japan. Because we stayed 5... More

This is in a fantastic location for the Tokaido Shinkansen and other lines such as the Yamanote Line that loops around central Tokyo. Once I stepped off the Shinkansen from my trip at Kyoto I had a short walk from Shinagawa Station to the hotel. Its also handy for getting around Tokyo via the Yamanote Line as you are about... The room service is terrible. We called the in-room-dining to microwave the food we ordered last night. We had to call 3 times for them to come up the room and get the food to be heated. For a high end and pricy hotel their service is slow and the people working at the hotel have a hard time understanding... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighborhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
