This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Tokyo tower and a two minute walk from the nearest subway station, linking you to the rest of Tokyo. The lobby and rooms are clean and the staff friendly with pretty good English spoken. The room is small but useable and to be expected for Tokyo, and was... More

The hotel is coveniently located a 5 minutes walk away from the Hamamatsucho train station on the Yamanote line (Circular line) it's even closer to the Daimon subway station. It's also 10 minutes away from the Tokyo Tower. There are several convenience stores around the hotel (handy to get breakfast). The rooms are quiet and well equipped, the bed is... More

Love the Tokyo Tower view from the room. The complimentary wifi router provided by the hotel was extremely useful. Near to Hamamatsucho and Daimon station. Chose this hotel as I was arriving from Haneda and needed to catch the Shinkansen from Shinagawa.

My overall experience of Japanese hospitality was fantastic. A very welcoming people who really go out of their way to help. Looking for directions outside the people would start taking you to the place rather than just pointing it out and it really blew me away how polite and wonderful they were. As such, the service at the hotel may... More

I chose this hotel for its proximity to another hotel I was staying at, and had read beforehand about the small size of the room. Understanding that this was not abnormal in Tokyo, I was still surprised by the small size. For two people, it required us to move our chair to block the door (probably not the best as... More

It's in a quiet area, but quite convenient to transport (Daimon stop on the subway, Hamamatsucho JR Sanyo line). There are some cute eating places nearby (a lot with limited English, however, and some seemingly preferring not to deal with foreigners), as well as several convenience stores. Visit nearby Zojoji Temple and the World Trade Center for great views of... More

This hotel is located in a narrow, small building that is difficult to find since the signage is small and not lit well at night. We had to enlist the help of locals who also had a hard time helping us to find it. We showed them the map from the hotel website but is was confusing for them as... More

Took the Access Narita shuttle bus (cheap, every 20 min.) to Ginza, then subway to Shimbashi (1 station only) then walked 600 m and I was at the reception in 90 min. Staff efficient, knowledgeable, with good knowledge of English; hotel clean, room small (this is Japan), good free coffee in lobby. To depart from Haneda, walked to Monorail (6... More

A well located hotel with good service and well equipped compact rooms. Views of Tokyo Tower depending on which floor you are on. Nasty brown carpet on the floor but overall a nice room. We visited in November while the temperature was quite warm, but unfortunately the aircons had been changed to blow warm air only so we had to... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
