When we arrived at the hotel to check-in (as agreed around 3PM) the door was opened but nobody was at the reception. We rang the bell and called a great number of time but nobody came. We even went to the 2/F of the hotel to see if anybody was there. After about 20mn of waiting and calling, we left.... More

Recommended by a friend. Very friendly, clean, quiet, helpful inn; Great location; train station a block away, as well as many temples, gardens and sites within walking distance. Excellent service. Traditional flooring in the rooms. Need to remove shoes before entering. Wooden sandals and socks provided. Private bath, also, in the room. Futon's on the floor, at night, for sleeping.... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
