The hotel has good location, close to the subway and train. The rooms are small but are very functional. Had everything that I needed to my business travel and very clean rooms. The breakfast has only 2 options but I believe that it's from japanese culture, very different from great brazilian breakfasts that I am used to. They also have... More

Location (4/5) It is very small room but if you can get promotion price, it's worth because you can see Tokyo tower from your room. You can access this hotel in two way. First way, when you see Lawson convenient store, turn right then behind the building you will see lobby. Another access to this hotel, you need to go... More

Hotel Sunroute Shinbashi is a short 5 minute walk from the conveniently located Shinbashi station. Lots of local eats around the place and this is truly bustling with locals having a beer at the many smoky and intimate izakaya bars in the area. The hotel itself is the usual small Japanese business hotel size but I see what the reviews... More

I am a fairly straight-forward business traveler. I don't like to be fussed over..... I require a clean room with a good internet connection. Sunroute is absolutely fantastic. I've stayed 3 times on 3 separate trips, and I've been more impressed each time I've visited. Friendly staff, ultra-clean rooms. Well situated in the area (The Ginza, Shiodome, and Shimbashi Station... More

Recently stayed in this great little hotel on our recent trip to Japan. It is superbly located near Shimbashi Station. Ideal distance if you have a wheelie bag to haul along with you. It is close to the metro which is cheap and easy and made sightseeing a breeze. This hotel is also very close to the JR station for... More

Thank you for your comment. We are glad to read that you had good time in our hotel. Actually, there are also perfect non-smoking rooms but if there is no available and you can't change the reservation to non-smoking, we will splay to reduce the smell of smell. If you could reserve only smoking room and would like to change... More

Note the rooms are extremely small but very clean and quiet. We were on the 4th floor. Very close to the Shimbashi train station. Can be difficult to find has direct access from the Lawson Store also. The store is open 24hrs and very convenient. Very close to restaurants, electronic stores. Starbucks next door with good seating and choices of... More

Great location, 5-min walk to Shimbashi JR & underground stations. Lots of good local food nearby. Quiet and tidy. Only drawback is that it's in this red-light district, but you can easily dismiss them and the guys won't bother you.

Stayed here for a few nights alone. It's an average hotel, nothing special about it. You get a bed, tv and toilet. Good location though, short walk to the train station. Lots of good restaurants around, starbucks and convenience store at the lobby. Rooms are tiny as expected, can barely fit in the toilet but this is average for room... More

This hotel can be a little hard to find at first, as the entrance is a little bit anonymous. Rooms are small, but in my opinion, if you're spending much time in your room when in Tokyo, you're doing *something* wrong. It's for sleeping, and the beds are comfy for that. Staff is extremely friendly and respectful, and I really... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
