The hotel has 24 sq.m. rooms, which is quite spacious in Japan (usually business-hotels here are 13 sq.m. or less). There are no non-smoking rooms and it really feels each time you enter a room; I wouldn't advise non-smokers to even consider this hotel due to that. The interior and amenities are a bit dated though most often everything's in... More

Thank you very much for choosing Hotel Mystays Akasaka for your stay in Tokyo. We are sincerely sorry for the inappropriate cleanliness of ventilation openings. We will commit more on cleanliness with our cleaning staff. For non-smokers guests we are able to deodorize and air guestroom prior to check-in so please do not hesitate to tell us your request. This is a good hotel for budget travelers with the ability to utilize the Tokyo Metro subway system. It is about a 5-minute walk to the Akasaka subway station (Chiyoda line). This would not be a good hotel location for those who are unable to use the Tokyo Metro subway system. These kind of travelers would need to use taxis... More

Thank you very much for choosing Hotel Mystays Akasaka. Our hotel is accessible from 3 stations; 5 minutes-walk from Akasaka and Tameike-sanno stations, and 15 minutes-walk from Akasaka-mitsuke station. They are all subway stations but you can transfer easily to JR stations. It has been 35 years since our hotel is opened and we are very sorry if there was... More

I've stayed at a weekly mansion (Ueno) and I liked the convenience of it so this time I chose to stay at this one with my husband. I chose the hotel for its location and the room size. It is five minutes walk to Akasaka on Chiyoda Line, eight minutes to Tameike Sanno and ten minutes to Akasakamituske on Ginza... More

I came here to stay over the Spring break period and hotels were extremely hard to find. I'd stayed at the Mystays Hamatsucho hotel, which was a great hotel, so I reckoned that this was a good hotel too without looking much into the feedback. The location is fine but it's just that the hotel itself feels like a prison... More

Extremely good location with good links to the Tokyo Metro, and walking distance from Roppongi if you feel like an all nighter. Not so much of a hotel tough, feels like a dorm. However, for us, it was extremely convenient, and allowed us to get to the locations that we wanted to see in Tokyo and around effectively.

Never stay here. We came here to stay over the 2012 NYE period as accommodation was hard to find and the location was relatively good.
