Stayed here in March 2014. Found hotel in a nice central location and not far from Tokyo tower but property is quite old and in need of refurbishing. Room is very small and in particular bathroom. I stayed in a non smoking room but smoke from above floors was coming in through air con and it was very strong. I... More

This was our first time to tokyo and we found this to be a great location to stay. It felt very central to some main districts. Staff were helpful as we speak no Japanese. Could see Tokyo Tower from our room.

We booked here for a few nights stopover, and chose it for it's proximity to the rail and bus station. Sadly the location was as good as it got. Although we arrived late check in was easy, with the receptionist speaking some English. We had a standard room and were allocated one without a view of the Tower. After walking... More

Stayed for a night with family. The room at the 15th floor where we stayed in is spacious and clean. Bathrooms are also clean and well-stocked with toiletries and towels. Building shows some signs of aging, but is well maintained.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights before travelling around Japan. Mainly aimed at business customers, it's a fairly basic hotel, but has everything you'd need for a a few nights visit and at a reasonable rate. Very close to the subway system and only around 5 minutes walk to the train station. All very handy as this means... More

Uninspiring hotel in good central location. Didn't eat in hotel as lots of shops and restaurants in local area. Rooms clean if a bit noisy. Our room was a bit as air con not v efficient. Pay for TV, which seems common in Japan but we didn't bother, Japanese TV being rubbish generally.

We stayed at this hotel recently for 3 nights. Whilst everything was just about okay it could have been so much better. We found the location to be alright, not exactly central but the centre was easily accessible on the subway, but the hotel really is just ready for an upgrade. Other reviewers have compared it to a Premier Inn,... More

I stayed at TGH solo for a night and was lucky I got a room on the 15th floor with a very nice view of the Tokyo Tower! Having stayed for merely one clock round probably doesn't authorize me to speak about the entirety of the hotel's service but as far as my experience is concerned, this hotel is very... More

Stayed here for three nights and found that this hotel is very clean (just like most Japanese hotels). The staff are courteous and professional, would try their best to help us with questions on directions and transport. Our room is a twin bed type, is very spacious, and without any cigarette smell. The bathroom is very nice and clean-again, just... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
