Art Hotels Hamamatsucho is located on a quiet street just a five minutes' walk away from the Hamamatsucho (Yamanote Line) and Daimon (Asakusa Line) stations, and only about 10 minutes' walk away from Shimbashi station on the edge of Ginza, and Hama-Rikiyu Gardens and Tsukiji fish market are also a short walk away. Yet there is no audible noise from... More

This hotel has a very good location, being near to both Daimon Metro station and JR Hamamatsucho station though it can be hard to find for those on 1st visit. Take the north exit at the JR Hamamatsucho station, and walk in the direction of World Trade Center building. Cross the traffic light at the building and turn into the... More

Hotel located in a quiet street near transport and attractions. The room was quite roomy by Japenese standards. We stayed in a twin room with a sofa bed. Free wi fi is included and a buffet breakfast with a choice of western and asian food was quite good. Would stay here again on my next trip back to Japan.

Coming from Haneda Airport, we decided to take a cab going to this place. Apparently, because of where its located, it is actually quite simple to just take the monorail and walk -- which we didnt know to begin with. ANYWAY, Art Hotel seems to be quite an old hotel. But it is very clean and very well kept. We... More

My husband and I were here for a total of nine nights during our two-week visit to Japan. Our first stay was in a room with twin beds on the 8th floor, then a similar room on the 5th floor. We found the rooms clean, the beds comfortable, the wireless speedy, the breakfast delicious. The location is terrific - a... More

Conveniently located on JR line, allows tourists with the JR Pass to use the line for free. Plenty of local eateries in the neighborhood and even an English pub within 5mins walk from the hotel. 24hr convenience store Lawson's is just across the road from the JR station. Hotel is in dire need of refurbishing. Beds are too soft. Sinks... More

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and I must say that this hotels falls short on several respects. First, i stayed in a twin room with an extra bed. The room size is ok and can be considered spacious for Tokyo standards. The twin beds were too soft and the extra bed which was really a sofa bed is... More

Nice clean hotel close to both the JR line and the Tokyo subway. Great breakfast, nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Reasonable English spoken. It's a greatlace to stay if you are thinking of visiting the fish market. The staff organised a taxi at 3am to go there with no problems. Recommend this nice little hotel.

The rooms and decor is overdue for refurbishment as some of the furnishings are scuffed or stained. However overall cleanliness is good once you get past this first impression. The rooms are a really good size for Tokyo and have a separate seating area which I really appreciated as I was there for a whole week. The breakfast is good... More

We arrived in the late evening at the hotel and were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Whilst my husband was doing the necessary paper work, the lady staff offered me a basket of face masks informing me that I am entitled to a complimentary face mask for each night of our stay. How pleasant and wonderful and what... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
