I was recommended to book this hotel through a friend who lives in Tokyo. The hotel is a few mins walk from Meguro station and is extremely convenient to get to all the tourist places. I wanted a hotel that was still central but not too central so that it would cost me a fortune to stay in; although all... More

Hotel Mid is a terrific base for a stay in Tokyo. The rooms are diminutive but that does not matter. The hotel staff are friendly, the rooms spotless and the breakfasts cheap and excellent. It is only 2 minutes' walk from Meguro Station on the Yamanote Line. it is reasonably priced.

We stayed here for a week. It was for business and family trip. The room is small but good enough to spend the night. Close to Meguro station so it helps a lot to travel around. The service is good. The hotel also serves breakfast for 330 Yen. If you are planning for a short stay for a business trip... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Just a 5 minutes down the road hotel. Simple but functional, has at least space enough to open a big sized suitcase. Basic amenities(toiletries and tea bags with a kettle). In room Wi-fi ok. Bed was comfy for me. Didn't try the breakfast but there is a Starbucks on the ground floor (with free Wi-fi) and... More

A no frills accommodation. If you want a very well located hotel with all basic amenities in place, Hotel Mid In is probably a very good choice. The hotel is located in Meguro, which is primarily a residential locality, safe and peaceful.

No complain about super good location. Only 3mints walk. Starbucks at first floor, convenience store, izakaya and so on. But found that it's little uncomfortable with the room temperature and also felt weird atmosphere 気. Didn't have good sleep for two nights which is very unusual to me... Hope the breakfast ends at least 10 am and check our at... More

I stayed at Hotel Mid In for seven nights and found the hotel to be comfortable, clean, quiet, and secure. I would gladly stay again. As is the case in virtually every non-luxury hotel in Japan the room is small. There is no closet, but wall hooks and hangers for a basic next-day wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable and... More

The hotel was located about 5 mins away from Meguro station. The entrance to the hotel was quite small, but there was a big sign board with the hotel name. The lobby was on the second floor. Door at main entrance required access card as well after late hours. The room was small and clean. The hour of stay was... More

I stayed here for thee nights with my girlfriend while waiting for our resheduled flight home after the first got cancelled when all airports in Europe were closed due to vulcanic ash in the air. The hotel felt pretty new and clean and is at a very good location. Just a few minutes walk from the Meguro station on the... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
