The room you get is very basic, but sufficient in Tokyo's standard. The room we stayed in had 3 beds and we added an extra one. Even with 3 adults and 2 kids it felt adequate. There were some dust under the bed but that didn't bother us. We simply tugged all of our luggages under the bed so the... More

I stayed in this aparthotel on our last stay with my wife and two small children. We were in the slightly cheaper room facing away from the river but spent little time looking out the window anyway. The room was big for a Tokyo bedsit with a small kitchenette and the expected tiny bathroom. The rooms are aged and the... More

I travel on a wheelchair and I recently stayed at Kurumi Weekly Mansion for 9 nights with my wife. On arrival, we used the bridge nearer the Suitengumae Station but we found that it was too steep. We decided to use the route from Eitai bridge on other days. The distance is longer but it is easier to manage. The... More

I found this mansion accidentally while I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Its location and description was very interesting to me so I made a reservation directly through their home page. Mr. Sasano, the manager, replied immediately no matter what time of a day and how many time on my inquiries.. To me, that showed sincerity and... More

Great place to crash in Tokyo, really quiet, good scenery next to the Sumida river and within 15 minutes of several train / subway stations. For those using the JR pass, Hatchobori station is 15 minutes away and only a station away from Tokyo station for shinkansen connections, the Chuo line or the Yamanote line. The rooms are big by... I am a frequent traveler to Japan, for 2 weeks at a time, and do not feel the need to pay the high prices to stay at the fine hotels catering to those on expense accounts. I now enjoy searching out comfortable and inexpensive accommodations, which have the adding benefit of introducing me to unfamiliar sections of Tokyo, and sometimes... More

A nice and pleasant stay with great river view if you get the room with window. The apartment is a little old but all the necessities are made available. The host is very friendly, well-mannered, helpful and speaks very well English!! that cut down half the effort to learn about the neighbourhood and all the essential where-about Tokyo attractions. During... More

We stayed at Kurumi Mansion for our first week in Tokyo. It was an easy commute from Narita Airport and a 10 minute walk from 3 metro stations, particularly with the great directions provided for us. The owner was kind and helpful in orientating us to Tokyo, seeming to really want us to enjoy his city. Another perk was the... More
