I thought it would be fun to try a capsule hotel for my first night in Tokyo. It's about a 6 minute walk to the subway station. I arrived at night so it was difficult for me to locate, but people are very friendly in Japan and are very willing to help you find your way. There are certain times... More

My wife and I had always wanted to experience the "capsule" hotel - but wasn't sure we could as we were of the understanding that they were either all-male or all-female. To our surprise, Tokyo Kiba Hotel offers "mixed" couples capsules. We were very pleasantly surprised with the service, the comfort of the beds - er - bed, as well... More

It was our first time in a capsule hotel and it was a fun experience! The capsules themselves are not quite as small as I thought they would be and I am 6 ft 5! With some of the capsules being double size, we had no trouble fitting in one together and we still had space for some of our... More

Before we stayed here my friends thought we were crazy for wanting to stay in a capsule hotel but I have to say that it was an amazing experience! First of all the hotel was easy to find and situated in an excellent location within close proximity to the tube station. The hotel was clean - and despite the fact... More

The staff is very friendly and helped me out with finding places to go for sightseeing, they even gave me a map for free. The rooms are small but cozy pod capsules (if you can't handle small places, then this hotel is not for you). Free Jacuzzi and washing supplies every day, anytime - except when they clean the Jacuzzi... More

The capsule hotel is a must experience for one night and this is the only one we found which offers couple accomodations. They give you a towel, slippers and a sort of japanese pijama. You get a locker where you can put your valuables and a small bag, while you have to leave your luggage at the entrance lounge. The... More

The capsules are in a perfect size (if you go with your partner, choose the bigger one, because there are two kinds of douple capsule). There are lots of facilities inside the hotel. Don't miss the japanese bath! It's fantastic. Location is nice, near the metro and a shopping center.

Stayed in a couple capsule for two nights either side of a day at Disneyland. The bed was comfortable and it definitely felt clean and safe. The bed was okay for me, but above 6 foot tall you will start to feel crammed. There is also not much sound-proofing. Even though people were respectful with noise, for some reason alarm... More

Great first time capsule experience. We were travelling as a couple so the double capsule was ideal. Close to the station. Helpful staff and clean bathrooms. The only suggestion I would make is to have something as a door to stop the noise coming into the capsule.

Great capsule experience in a good location. Close to transport, shopping centre and some nice cafés and restaurants. The double capsule was ideal as we were travelling as a couple, something other capsule hotels don't seem to offer. The facilities were all well kept and the reception staff helpful (made a restaurant reservation for us). Only suggestion is that the... More
