We wanted to try out a capsule and this was the only place that had double capsules so we booked! I really enjoyed our stay! I thought the capsules were a comfy and a decent size for 2 people. It was a fun, Japanese experience that we wanted to try out a d it was great - and also a... More

I really think that when traveling in Japan, you really ought to try the capsule hotels and the Kiba Hotel was a good place to do so. First, the good things. Our capsule (a semi-double one, we fitted in just fine) was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms were in good condition and I even tried the hot tub - nice... More

I stayed two nights at Tokyo Kiba hotel. Nothing to say except this word "Absolutely perfect" This is the best place for someone who is looking for nice and cosy accommodation during visiting Tokyo. The receptionists are very helpful. The lounge is clean and you can access to the net for 24 hours. It has bathrooms with jucuzzi and hot... More

For those complaining about the capsule experience, you get what you pay for. If you want an ordinary hotel, book an ordinary hotel. If you want an ordinary experience, book something with an ordinary price. The capsule I stayed in was very comfortable, but it did get a little warm inside. Can't blame the hotel for that though. The front... More

If you want the capsule experience this is an option. However I'd only stay one night and then go stay in a hostel because that's basically what it is. The lights were left on all night. You have a curtain which blocks some of the light but not enough. The bathroom and showers were on a completely different floor. Not... More

A friend and I stayed, booked a double capsule after hearing in one of the reviews that the single capsules had doors to seal out noise. HOWEVER, the large capsules only had flimsy curtains that did not block out any noise and still allowed light in. So, if you don't enjoy snoring, coughing, people shuffling by and talking into the... U will be given number tag for verification. Locker key will b provided at the same time. We actually take out everything we need... More

A must do while you are in Japan! Our couple capsule was spacious, everything was well explained by the staff! Pyjamas, toothbrush and towels provided! The bathroom was great, loved the little jacuzzi! Shiseido products provided! Location a bit far but easy access!

Sooooo I been in Japan for 3 years. And been to the love hotels, the small business hotels, but never the capsule hotel. I must say that it is interesting and fun! If you are a very private person introvert type and sensitive to other people then IT IS NOT FOR YOU! The shower room is your typical bathhouse style... More

We stayed at Kiba for 6 nights and we didn't choose it for the capsule experience, if we could have afforded a nice hotel, with a private bathroom near the metro, we would have but Tokyo is very expensive, especially if you're planning your trip only 3 weeks ahead. Instead we ended up at this hotel/hostel and were pleasently surprised.... More
