My usual hotel criteria are: it has to be near a subway station and lively neighborhood with F&B and convenience stores. And this Ginza hotel did not disappoint, with plenty of shops & restaurants nearby to explore. Its one station away from Tsukiji market and we managed to even walk back from Tokyo Tower after 2015 countdown (20-30 mins). Bonus... More

We booked the Gracery Hotel Ginza for a family trip to Tokyo just this month. First thing that impressed me was its location! It was just a street away from 4 Chuo, the main avenue of Ginza where all the high end shops were lined up. Everything was a short walk away – shopping, restaurants, the impressive Beer Hall in... Stayed there for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year's. Like most Japanese hotels, the Gracery is clean, efficient, quiet and convenient. For sure, .this isn't the Tokyo Park Hyatt but it's a heck of alot cheaper. Wife, daughter and I booked a double (bed) room. The room was quite small (350 sq/ft 32 Sq m) with just enough space... We booked the Gracery after a last minute change of itinerary and arrived after a 24 hr flight. We showed up to the hotel at about 10am hoping we would be able to check in, but was told that check in wasn't available till 2pm, unless we wanted to pay ~$30/hr to check in earlier. We came back at about... More

Normally we stay in Shijuku area but this time we decided to stay Ginza area. We stayed four nights. We went by location without knowing this hotel. The location is heart of Tokyo. Close to Ginza metro station few minutes walk. JR Shinbashi or Yurakucjo Stsyions are about 10min walk. All the shopping stores and plenty of restaurants are around... More

Strategically located in the heart of Ginza, one of the best locations in Tokyo. It is facing a building site (Nov 2014) where the former Matsuzakaya Department Store was, but as long as you ask to be put in a room not facing the building site, everything is fine. Did not have breakfast in the hotel as there are better... More

The room had Western beds and toilet. The staff was helpful. The front desk attendants were bilingual in English and Japanese. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were buffet style and good with a choice of Western and Japanese selections. The location is right in the heart of the Ginza District for good shopping opportunities.

Stayed nov 14. Typical small room hotel. 5 min walk to ginza station. It was next to a construction side but hardly any sound. I guess once the building is made, it will block the view of ginza street. Taxis are easy to come by and plenty of restraunts and convenient stores near by. Room had a few extras like... More

Pros: - Great location that is a brief 3-5 minute walk to Ginza station. Quiet area, despite the construction site right opposite the hotel, we didn't experience much noise disturbance when we travelled in May 2014. I don't know if that has changed now, judging by some recent reviews posted. - Neat and tidy rooms, a very decent size for... More

Surprisingly quiet hotel even located right next to the huge construction site - and I guess that's why there's good price promotion even in early July. For those who are willing to walk around, shop a lot, love Giza area, this should be one very good hotel you should think of, with relatively spacious room at good price. 5-10 min... More
