We (wife and 2 year old) stayed in the Gracery Ginza early part of March. It is situated in the middle of Ginza and everything is within a few hundred meters away. It is very convenient to catch a train or subway from here. There are around 4 subway stations (Ginza, Ginza Itchome, Shiodome, and Shimbashi) that are walking distance.... More

We stayed here for four nights because we wanted to stay in the "heart" of Tokyo. It was close to lots of designer shops and expensive eateries. It wasn't really my cup of tea; on retrospect I should have stayed in Shinjuku or Shibuya where there is cheaper food and more interesting shopping for younger people. The area is for... More

We went to Tokyo for a super weekend flash shopping and eating trip. I chose to stay at this hotel because of the convenient location. It is located right on Chuo Dori. Uniqlo was just opposite to the hotel. The best thing was we went shopping for couple hours and we could quickly head back to hotel and shop again.... More

We choose this restaurant as it was well located for both shopping in Ginza and within 15 minutes walking distance to the fish market. The hotel is a business hotel and as such the rooms are small clean and functional. Typical of hotels we have stayed at previously in Tokyo.

Ok hotel, but the images on the website are deceiving. I payed extra for "high floor recently renovated" but was shocked when a friend payed less for the exact same room one floor lower (12th). I guess space is a commodity in Toyko, but the room was tiny. Enough for a double bed and table... Also, there is a construction... More

My usual hotel criteria are: it has to be near a subway station and lively neighborhood with F&B and convenience stores. And this Ginza hotel did not disappoint, with plenty of shops & restaurants nearby to explore. Its one station away from Tsukiji market and we managed to even walk back from Tokyo Tower after 2015 countdown (20-30 mins). Bonus... More

We booked the Gracery Hotel Ginza for a family trip to Tokyo just this month. First thing that impressed me was its location! It was just a street away from 4 Chuo, the main avenue of Ginza where all the high end shops were lined up. Everything was a short walk away – shopping, restaurants, the impressive Beer Hall in... Stayed there for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year's. Like most Japanese hotels, the Gracery is clean, efficient, quiet and convenient. For sure, .this isn't the Tokyo Park Hyatt but it's a heck of alot cheaper. Wife, daughter and I booked a double (bed) room. The room was quite small (350 sq/ft 32 Sq m) with just enough space... We booked the Gracery after a last minute change of itinerary and arrived after a 24 hr flight. We showed up to the hotel at about 10am hoping we would be able to check in, but was told that check in wasn't available till 2pm, unless we wanted to pay ~$30/hr to check in earlier. We came back at about... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
