We stayed here one night in Tokyo so we could get an early start to visit Nikko. The hotel is in a brilliant location if you want to be near the station. Its modern and the layout of the room is good and uses the space well. However we found it very noisy - both from the streets below (even... More

The location is a big plus. The room was cramp, dusty as evidenced by the window curtains and the bathroom had a mildewy smell. But for the price, it was OK since the room was mainly to sleep in. No problems other than that.

I stayed in this hotel for a total of 5 nights and had a good experience with the hotel in terms of service and quality of the rooms. It is a simple hotel, which although does not meet the 4-5 stars hotel standard in terms of facilities and amenities, it does provides what is necessary for a perfect stay to... More

I stayed in the hotel in early December 2014 for one night with my two daughters aged 3 & 5. I booked a twin room. Unlike our previous Japanese hotel, they did not charge extra for the 3 year old for breakfast, this was a plus, but the breakfast wasn't, more on that later. The hotel is a stones throw... More

Had a twin room with an extra bed and stayed there 6 days. Room size is to be expected but not an issue for us as we are out most of the time. It is also very clean with no trace of smoking smell. The location is unbeatable with really close proximity to Tokyo JR and 2 subway stations and... More

Since most of our sight-seeing trip depart from Tokyo Station and the hotel is very near to all the amenities, we decided to stay in this hotel for 4 nights. The location is just perfect but like everyone said the room is really small with the price tag. Front Desk Service is good. They allows us to leave our luggages... More

We'd read the reviews before booking this hotel so knew to expect a small room with limited storage and an adequate-sized bathroom. So long as you're prepared to use the chairs and the small coffee table for your suitcases etc, then there's enough space to be comfortable in the room. The bathroom, like the bedroom, was spotless and perfectly adequate... More

So the hotel is convenient to Tokyo Central Station and plenty of restaurants. But, the room I had was so tiny. No place to put luggage but on the bed. Couldn't even walk around the bed to close curtain, walked on bed. And tiny bathroom. Only reason this hotel doesn't get a poor rating is that small rooms are normal... More

The hotel's location (very close to Tokyo station) is it's best asset. Room was tiny (so was the bathroom), clean and quiet. WiFi worked well. However, the price was quite steep even considering the high prices of hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was not included so instead of having the breakfast buffet at a relatively high price, we ate in immediate... More

I was unable to connect to the internet, either with WIFI or LAN. The man at reception worked for a half hour and finally got me connected, but the same thing happened the next two nights. Other people were at reception complaining that they could not connect to WIFI. There is no coffee in the room, not even instant coffee.... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
