Yaesu Terminal hotel is conveniently located near Tokyo Station. The hotel itself is good, impeccably clean - as is the norm in Japan - and with small rooms, which is also the norm in Japan. There are several restaurats and bars nearby and it is walking distance to Ginza.

It's not far away from the main station. But I had some trouble with breakfast on saturday, the restaurant closes at 10:00 - which means - you should enter 09:30 - to be accepted for breakfast. Rooms are very small - but have air condition. But the beauty for me was in the breakfast restaurant - enjoying the view toward... More

The Yaesu Terminal Hotel was located on a small, tree lined street, perpendicular to the Tokyo train station and the central district of Tokyo. As with most of the hotels I've stayed in while exploring Japan, there was no coffee in the room. This hotel was located accross the street from a Starbucks and around the corner from a Seven-Eleven.... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in September 2015. I was staying here so that I could attend a convention in Chiba. I knew that this location would be convenient since it is very close to Tokyo Station, and I could catch the Keiyou line train to the convention venue. This hotel offers good service, and simple, clean... More

This hotel is ideal for travellers looking for accommodation which is less expensive than the very large luxury hotels. It is ideally placed near Tokyo station. Rooms are clean even though, like most rooms in Japanese hotels, are rather tight. All toiletries are provided including toothbrush and toothpaste, shaver etc. Toilet seats are even heated. Breakfasts are inexpensive at Y1,200... More

The location is good with many restaurants nearby. The hotels is just opposite Tokyo station. The room size is small, we hoped a slightly larger room. Overall recommended for value for money stay at Tokyo.

Tokyo station is the hub where almost all things run through. From business, to the metro, railways and the Bullet Train, it's a good thing to stay in this area. For the luxurious options there's the Shangrila, The Marriot and a whole host of other options. But for something closer to home, its just a mere half block away. The... More

I stayed at the Yaesu Terminal Hotel while on a business trip to Japan. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Tokyo Station, it's incredibly easy to find. It's surrounded by many small restaurants and shops, not to mention the shops in the station. It's a 10 minute subway ride from Ginza, 15/20 minutes from Asakusa, and you... More

We stayed here one night in Tokyo so we could get an early start to visit Nikko. The hotel is in a brilliant location if you want to be near the station. Its modern and the layout of the room is good and uses the space well. However we found it very noisy - both from the streets below (even... More

The location is a big plus. The room was cramp, dusty as evidenced by the window curtains and the bathroom had a mildewy smell. But for the price, it was OK since the room was mainly to sleep in. No problems other than that.

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
