I had a 21+ hour layover in Japan. I took the train and ended up here. It was a brilliant choice. I arrived at night so I did not get a chance to venture out before I went to sleep. The next day, I checked out and had an incredible walk to the bus terminal. I got a burger and... More

This hotel is further from Akihabara than we had originally expected (17 min walk or 15 min walk to the JR station to go 1 stop) but in a reasonable area. I think the things we found the most annoying was the limitation on the use of the laundry facilities (had to be used between 9am and 10pm) as we... More

The Horidome Villa is well situated, you can chose from 3 different subway stations (Hibiya line Ningyo-cho station or Kodemma-cho station) and with a little bit of help from friendly locals the hotel is reasonably easy to find and ranging from only 3-8 minutes walk depending on which station you choose to get off at. The Chuo area is OK,... More

We stayed 3 nights and our stay was pleasant. Despite our room was very small, it had a comfortable double bed, it was clean and had everything you need. Bathroom was also clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. Placed 5 minutes walking to the metro "Ningyocho", close to Ginza and to Tokyo train station, quiet and safe place.... More

Reception was helpful; heading right after checkout from Hotel Nihonbashi Villa, it was a plus that when we arrived our room was just made ready. Free brewed coffee in the morning at the lobby - great for caffeine hounds! Free wi-fi in rooms, LAN is also available, and connection is strong (we stayed at the 3/F). Various restaurants and konbinis... More

First you will be fooled by the OK exterior, lobby and the elevator, even the staff at front desk are OK and speaks necessary English, but when you arrive to your floor, you will be greeted by a stinky humid smell and a floor that is covered with stains from who-knows-what. You think that it's hopefully just the corridor, but... More

This hotel is good for the money you pay for it and I got a deal online, I wouldn't have wanted to pay a cent more or have paid full price for the room though because it was fairly basic but that's what I expected! The bed was incredibly hard and squeaky and you could hear the person in the... More

We tried this place to be closer to the fish market for the 4am opening... and regretted it. We tried a few places inTokyo and this one provides no good reason to be chosen: - rooms are small, even by Tokyo standard - bathrooms are even smaller, even by Tokyo standard - rooms are smelly, like old smoker's now moldy... We stayed one night here on our way through Tokyo and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Very affordable, well appointed, English speaking staff and has everything that you need. Is also well located between the kodenmacho (200m) and ningyocho (500m) metro stations making it very easy to get around and get to the airport

Location is good, about 5mins walk to Ningyo-cho stn, which is on a very accessible subway line. Really liked that there was a convenience store and 24-hr Yoshinoya right next door too (for my supper fix every night). Breakfast isn't provided here, but there are plenty cafes in the vicinity with affordable breakfast options. Rooms are clean, and tidied every... More
