The best kept hotel we've every stayed in around the world. The service especially was second to none as was the amazing food. Everything from room-service, to breakfasts at Kishiki, to the Pizza Bar were all world class. Also the concierge service was outstanding. It seemed every person, even cleaning people knew our names and our itinerary and needs throughout... More

The MO in Tokyo is a gem! It has an amazing city view, great bars and restaurants and a top class gym. The hotel is everything you expect and more. The real value add is the concierge service. They hjelped us book and cancel a number of restaurants and provided us with essential information for our travels in Japan. A... More

I have ever had a dinner at the french restaurant and drinks at the bar, and they were not very impressive. This time, I stayed at the hotel. It was really wonderful. Firstly, the room was bigger than regular hotels and has a very good sound proof construction, and the room ceiling was much higher than standard. The bath tub... More

The views from the lobby/lounge are really shocking. Beautiful top views from Tokyo lights, the restaurants really good. My favorite cocktails ever, great piano romantic live music! Either if you're staying on this hotel or not, its worth paying a visit and chilling on the bar. Grab something to eat or drink! For more pictures go to my instagram acccount... More

Our stay at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo was truly fantastic. My daughter and I celebrated her birthday there and our trip was made incredible by the staff at the hotel. Our every need was seen to with a smile and our every request was fullfiled. If in Tokyo, one should not stay anywhere but Mandarin Oriental. The hotel is incredible, the... More

The hotel was everything you would expect from a luxury property. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and made my 12 year old son and I feel right at home even though we were 1/2 way around the world.

Service is outstanding, the views are amazing, the breakfast was very good, the room was ample, full of amenities. However, there are two thing that I did not like. First, I cannot believe a hotel is still charging the wifi in 2015 !!! I'm sorry but it's like charging for the towels !!! It really put me in bad mood... More

Location makes it easy for sightseeing (easy subway from the basement) and shopping ( literally next door) and restaurants; that is, if you want to dine at restaurants not in the Mandarin which are spectacular. Views from the large rooms.....remember you are over 30 stories up, help you see and understand the great city Tokyo. So you have all the... More

I have recently returned after spending a week in this amazing hotel. This was the second time I have stayed and I really wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Tokyo, It really is amazing in so many ways. The service is incredible, if only all hotels were like this! The views...WOW! We had a standard room on the 31st floor... More

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in August 2014 The spa was the nicest I've ever been in with a soaking pool with Panoramic views of the city. The hotel is top notch and the service was unparalleled. The hotel was happy to help with directions in busy Tokyo. The concierge was more than happy to book my train ticket... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
