I stayed in this hotel a week ago with my mother during our trip to Japan. Overall, the experience was very good, but not unforgettable as in my other stays at Mandarin Oriental hotels, mostly due to some lack of coordination and communication between hotel staffs which leads to not a top notch service as I used to have in... We had excellent experience for 3 nights stay. Perfect location, easy access, very professional services, and gorgeous lobby. The French restaurant is excellent. Everyone from the concierge to lobby greeters are friendly, polite and very helpful. I would go back anytime.

Five star service, five star views, five star amenities and a true five star experience. The hotel is located on the 30th - 38th floor of a building centrally located in Tokyo right above the Mitsukoshimae Station off of the Ginza and Hanzomon Subway lines. The view from every room in the hotel is spectacular. The staff is incredibly friendly... More

Very friendly, very luxurious hotel. Fantastic views, brilliant restaurants. Large rooms with everything one can ask for. Will return here, highly recommend it even if it's quite expensive. Central location for tourists and by the way: don't be afraid to use Metro. It is really quite easy, just read the signs

This hotel and its staff go above and beyond to make my stay legendary. I'm not sure if I know how to function on my own after leaving here. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The facility is super clean and pretty. The fitness center has the best views of the city.

I stayed in Tokyo MO for 3 nights last week and I am very impressed with its personalized service. Having stayed at multiple 5-start hotels in all of the big global cities (HK, BJ, NY, London, Ritz, Four Seasons etc), I think Tokyo MO wins for me for its human touch. The hotel itself is very new with a stunning... More

Just go. The best hotel I've stayed in, globally; can't wait to return, the following pretty much sums it up... I arrived at 7.30am overnight from HK ahead of a business meeting at 9am, I showered and pulled a fresh shirt out of my bag, it was a mess. I immediately called housekeeping and asked for an iron to be... More

Great location for shopping - right across the street from Mitsukoshi and Coredo buildings. Also very close to Tokyo station and good access to metro/subway system. The hotel is in great condition and of a very high standard. Wonderful views of Tokyo from the common areas and the rooms. The room was in very good condition. Electronic controls for lights,... Stayed 2 nights with our family finishing up a 3 week adventure in Japan. The hotel is right on top of the subway, well located to several magnificent departments stores with tons of eating just right across the street. The check in desks overlook the Tokyo skyliness (as does the Men's urinals, which is btw is simply awesome!). The rooms... More

As long as there is no big price difference, choose Mandarin. This is the second Mandarin I have been to, and this is also marvelous. First one was HongKong. If no chance to stay, just go and sit in the reception, one of the best views in the city!

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
