We stayed here in March 2011 and this was the best hotel we've ever stayed in anywhere. As we walked towards the hotel with our bags from Tokyo station, the bell hop ran down the driveway to take almost everything from us. The view behind the front desk was unbelievable. The rooms were all that we were hoping for as... More

Throughout the many years I have travelled to Tokyo, my stays at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo have always exceeded my expectations by far. Located a five min taxi ride from Tokyo Central Station (easy to connect via the Narita Airport express train), the hotel occupies the top 9 floors in a 38 story building. From the moment you enter the... More

Stayed here and two separate occasions during Japan trip and rate it among the best in the world. Great restaurants and bars had an upgraded giant room with superb views. Once in a lifetime stay helped by wonderful friendly and efficient staff. More

What an amazing hotel - great location (right over an underground station) and right in the heart of Tokyo. Special rooms, super service. Amazing views. More

The staff make this hotel great. Very attentive, non-obtrusive and genuinely interested in the guests. I was amazed at how friendly in a particularly Japanese way some of the staff were. Also, it should be noted the morning breakfast staff were exceptional and completely charming. I still think about one gentleman and his attitude and how delightful it was to... More

Why? Because I always feel at home. From my good friend Ishii san (a true treasure to the hotel) at the front desk, to the refreshing sound of the blinds rising automatically raising themselves when you first enter the room, all is good and right. Rooms are fantastic, service impeccable, and on those magic days when the weather is right,... More

Not much around the hotel apart from the noodle bars of Kanda but who cares. Easily the best City hotel in the world. The reception is outragious. Even if you don't stay there, go visit. More

Awesome but not perfect. There's an element of squeezing the customer here which is just annoying at this level - charging for WiFi access room is a prime example, I don't expect to even have to think about this if I need to get on the net for a few minutes. I also expect free (and obviously free) water by... More

About the Hotel : Unlike typical hotels, this hotel occupies the top 9 floors of a 38 floor building. This makes it very interesting. The do have a private entry staffed up and the lower most floor but the main lobby is located at the 38th floor. What makes it great : The service, one cannot go wrong with the... More
