All reviews are very positive and with good reason. This hotel is magnificent. The lobby on the 38th floor is superb. The bars are beautiful and views are superb. It is not however a typical holiday hotel, it's a business hotel but we stayed there for leisure and had a great time. Service: Fenomenal. Probably the best I've ever had.... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental for the first few days of our honeymoon in Tokyo. The hotel is undoubtably wonderful - the staff are excellent - friendly, attentive and as our Japanese is limited, their English was excellent. The rooms were huge for Japanese standards - with great views, large bathrooms and huge beds. The breakfast,... more

Everything about this hotel was 1st class!! The rooms were very comfortable, the hotel staff is the best in the universe, the restaturants and bar are fantastic, the location was great with easy access to the subway system. The cost for the room was also an excellent value because they offered a discount along with $75/day credit towards restaurant, bar,... more

This quite-new property is definitely up to Mandarin standards. Whilst the formal spaces are as grand as you'd expect, it is really the efficient and caring service that sets the tone. As non-Japanese-speaking travelers to Japan know, this is one city where the concierge desk can make the difference and the team here was spot on, with prompt responses to... more

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo exceeded our every expectation. The staff were all incredibly attentive, helpful and kind. Our room had a gorgeous view of the city and was beautifully appointed. The rain shower in the bathroom was a welcome surprise after a long flight. Another great thing about this hotel is its location next to the Mitsukoshi... more

As with most who have writtem about the MOT, its a place thats hard to fault. We stayed in a Premium Grand Room which was huge, decorated with modern japanese elegance and having every amenity you could possibly conceive. But I thought I could provide a little more information about its location, which we also found hard to fault. Firstly... more

Pros: Modern, sophisticated plush rooms. All the curtains are electronically controlled. The bathtubs are fan shaped, actually looks more like a seashell. Of course, the shower are excellent with all kinds of controls. Bathroom amenities include brush, toothbrush, toothpaste and excellent shampoo, conditioners. Incredible Spa with hot soaking tubs facing the city skyline. Breakfast buffets are incredibly delicious. East meets... more

What can I say about this hotel that hasn't already been written on this site? It was amazing. We were only there a night on the last night of our Japanese honeymoon and we were treated like royalty. The floor to ceiling window in our room gave us an incredible view of the Tokyo skyline and we watched the sun... more

Certainly found using the airport limousine service from the Navita airport to the depot and then 2 minutes taxi very easy and convenient. The welcome and pleasant staff we found no fault with and they were supremely helpful with booking restaurants where only Japanese was spoken. Superb room, we over looked the city. Good location can walk to both ends... more
