OK, rooms (incl. bathrooms) are very small but this is really the only 'complaint' I have....very clean, bed very comfortable, WiFi and TV worked fine, staff was very friendly, nice restaurant and coffee place on the ground floor and a lot of good food places in walking distance. Definitely good value for money and a place to come back.

- they let me check in 2 hours early which was amazing. - A big flat screen tv with a handy list of channels (bbc, fox, daifu, kbs included). - A very deep bath which I melted in every night. - Free toiletries including razor, toothpaste + brush, hair wash and pj's and free bottled water in mini bar. -... One of the reasons that I choose Marriott properties when traveling internationally is that I expect the rooms to be up to certain standards. The rooms at the Courtyard Tokyo Station are definitely small by American standards, but not ridiculously so. Pros: - Great breakfast - Good location within easy walking distance of Tokyo Station - Newer property and very... More

The Courtyard was the perfect launch pad for our 3 days in Tokyo. Yes, the standard rooms are fairly small, but you won't be spending any time there. Rooms were spotless. I was happy they had CNN news (even though I'm a Fox person) available so we could keep up with stuff back home. The hotel is very, very quiet.... More

This was the perfect pick for us to stay for 5 nights in toyko. The location was perfect for doing the day trips out of the city and for getting around the city as well. The staff was very accommodating to all our needs. The Generalanager was always available and asked to ensure that everything was to our liking. The... More

Stayed here for biz trip; walking distance to Tokyo station, also buses which bring you to both airports Narita and Haneda; very quiet at night but with a cab you are 5 mins ride into nightlife of Ginza. I hardly get any services from the hotel - the front desk is friendly and ready to provide you with maps for... More

Nicely new built hotel with easy access to Tokyo trains, tube, and what have you. Rooms are small obviously, but cater for almost all you can wish. Very tidy and neat, all is clean. Breakfast place is having an unblocekd view from many tables into the streets of Tokyo, the rush around the tables from outside is giving it a... More

Having read the reviews, I had expected a tiny room with not a lot of frills. That part of it is correct although I didn't think it was too bad for 2 people. The fitness room is also quite basic but does the job. But this is more than made up by the great central location (very near Tokyo Station... More

Just spent 6 nights here.Room was spotlessly clean restocked and cleaned every day. Reading earlier reports regarding lack of room facilities i must admit i didn't find this to be the case. My room contained an iron + ironing board, hairdryer, safe, kettle + tea /coffee etc, drinks in fridge including complimentary bottles of water,tv,very comfy bed with great pillows. The bathroom was spotless... If you are looking for the good hotel that closed to Tokyo Station and have a good healthy breakfast. This is the good one. There are 2 cons for this hotel. 1. Room is quite small but practical organized and new. 2. Should have the shutter service to Tokyo Station for the customer with lots of luggage. Overall, it is... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
