As any typical Tokyo hotel, the room is small and the amenities are basic. But what makes up for it is the location. As you step out of the hotel, a block away is the entrance to one of the stations in Ginza. A few more blocks and it's the main shopping street. Walk a bit further and its the... More

The best thing about the Monterey Ginza is its location in the middle of Ginza. While I usually love the hotels from the Monterey chain, this one was a bit of a disappointment. Our room was small and the strange dark wooden floor made it seem even smaller. It was hard to find space for a small and medium sized... More

Our Tokyo Ginza hotel room where we stayed for three days seemed like a shoe box. Very compact with just enough room to get dressed and make your way to the bathroom, and out. It is compact living at its best, and yet everything is in its place and very orderly and clean. It is located an easy walk from... More

We had to get 2 rooms for a family of 4. At first they could not give us connecting rooms but rooms on the same floor only. However a few days before, when we asked if they can confirm the rooms will be on the same floor, they said connecting rooms are available. We also got 2 twin beds in... More

We enjoyed the service the location and the hotel's hospitality . The room was small but clean. The breckfast was good including Japanese food and western food. The location of the hotel is very good walking distance from the fish market and ginza shopping area

This is my first time to Japan and I couldn't be happier with the hotel. The convenience store is directly across the road and the train station and McDonalds are a 1 minute walk away. The front staff have been very helpful and considerate, even helping me work out the most economical way for me to buy train tickets based... More

Good value hotel. Small rooms, a little dated but comfortable and clean. Quiet Ginza neighbourhood. Plenty of coffee, mini marts and shops in surrounding streets. Close to main street shops. Easy walk to the underground trains. Would stay again.

Perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Tokyo prior to returning home after a cruise out of Yokohama. Friendly and helpful staff and a clean and sizable room, with free WiFi (worked well). Very comfortable bed and quiet location. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of tasty and well presented Asian and western food. A short... More

This hotel was slightly run down and the rooms were extremely small. I've traveled to Tokyo before and know that the city hotel rooms tend to be small but this hotel was like staying in a closet. The room was clean but the AC worked only about 50% of the time. The hotel front desk staff were useless. The first... More

Excellent experience overall . The room and bath room size is decent by Tokyo Standard . However , the quality of material used in the room as well as the amenities hotel provided makes us feel very conformable, almost home like .This feeling just gets more distinct when you start to compare with other Tokyo hotels . One thing to... More
