The hotel is right above the Ginza-itchome subway station of the Yurakucho line and is not far away from the Ginza subway station of the Ginza line. The room is small but is well equipped and cleaned. Bed is comfortable and the wifi is reliable. Staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. Breakfast is nice with a good... More

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It is in the expensive Ginza area but the quality of service--you can't beat. Breakfast was very good as well. It is close to Sony, Kabuki-za theater, shrines/temples, markets and metro stations.

Mercure is good location, good hotel but being Japan rooms are always small. Trainee girls at reception so this detracted from the experience but overall I would go back. Close to JR main railway and underground under the hotel. Breakfast OK but again being Japan they don't do western breakfast well so expect frankfurts and mexican beans but they tried.

The location is great. A lot of restaurants around and easy to get to train stations. Walking distant to Tokyo station. Staff are nice and friendly. Rooms are good sizes, as it is Japan, rooms are small, but gave you enough space and amenities to feel comfortable.

Mecure has again provided a great value hotel in an expensive city. A good sized room in a great location for a great price. The hotel is in easy walking distance from Tokyo Metro station. The hotel breakfast was a bit pricey but there are plenty of small cafe's in the area offering much better value breakfast. Also some very... More

Friendly staff who spoke good English, a very comfortable western-style room, ample sized bathroom, this hotel exceeded all my expectations except that the buffet breakfast was good, not excellent. There is no lobby at street level; you take an elevator to the second floor. Don't expect a view from your room; it's a fairly narrow street with another building opposite.... More

Round the corner from Ginza Chuo Dori. Walking distance to Ginza metro station and has direct access to Ginza-itchome metro station. Twin room was spacious for Tokyo. Excellent concierge staff who assisted in booking restaurants and bus tickets for us pre-departure.

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
