Friendly staff who spoke good English, a very comfortable western-style room, ample sized bathroom, this hotel exceeded all my expectations except that the buffet breakfast was good, not excellent. There is no lobby at street level; you take an elevator to the second floor. Don't expect a view from your room; it's a fairly narrow street with another building opposite.... More

Round the corner from Ginza Chuo Dori. Walking distance to Ginza metro station and has direct access to Ginza-itchome metro station. Twin room was spacious for Tokyo. Excellent concierge staff who assisted in booking restaurants and bus tickets for us pre-departure.

Located in the buzzing precinct of Ginza, with a train station under the building (major bonus to get around town), Mecure Hotel offers it all. Room for us parents plus one child accomodated with fold out bed and still enough space to move. Food in bistro at brekkie and dinner (yummy!!) (FYI kids under 16 eat free for brekkie) Wifi... More

The positive things about staying at the Mercure Tokyo Ginza are its location and its staff. The hotel, a small hotel located on a side street in Ginza, is close to the major department stores, luxury goods stores, walking distance to the Tokyo train station, the Imperial East Garden, and the Tsukiji Fish Market. The reception staff speak English and... More

Down a small lane so and no huge frontage or reception. Rooms small but ok by Japanese standards. 15 min walk from Tokyo Central train station. Surrounded by shops etc. Perfectly fine option for this part of Tokyo.

The hotel is situated strategically in the heart of Tokyo city, very close to the train and subway station, and right next to the Ginza shopping district. Hundreds of restaurants, shopping malls, convenience stores and the likes, so everything is right around the corner. Rooms are a bit small but that's true for any city-center hotel anywhere in the world.... More

The hotel was great for shopping. All the stores were a five minute walk. The subway and train were about six minutes away. The hotel and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful. The restaurant got me gluten-free bread and the chef spoke with me to make sure I had a safe gluten-free dinner. McDonalds is two minutes away if you have... More

The rooms are not as small as other hotel rooms in Tokyo. Great location, near muji and metro The reception when checking in was fast, but they need a better person that speaks English when a problem arises. We were accommodated when we had a problem after the person talking to us called their manager. But overall it was a... More

The Mercure Tokyo Ginza has a great location - within easy walking distance to the Imperial Palace, Imperial Theater, the famous Ginza Street, the Tokyo Ginza subway stations, the Kabukiza Theater, and Tsukiji Fish Market. Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
