We stayed at the Mercure Ginza for 7 days before moving onto Osaka and then back for 1 more night. The hotel is in a great location, Ginza shopping area is on your doorstep and the subway stations and Tokyo mainline station are within walking distance. It was also nice walking around Ginza at night, with the lights and wide... More

The Mercure is poor. Its superior rooms are not well styled. You cannot change lights except by withdrawing the door key. Two lifts fail to serve the floor where both reception and the restaurant are. English is very poor, better from the waiters. The bedroom windows face a blank wall across a narrow road. The food is mediocre. Altogether disappointingly... More

Clseo to ginza shops and Tokyo station: about a 5 minute cab ride. Easier than walking although doable. Correct size for Tokyo Helpful staff Rooms were quiet. Did not try restaurant as there are many options in ginza.

Mercure Ginza We stayed in a double room for two nights. What we liked: The hotel is well-located in Ginza and convenient for Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace and shopping in Ginza. For a hotel right in the heart of things, it was affordable. Helpful staff The room was clean and comfortable, perhaps a bit on the ‘cosy’ side, with... More

Stayed in Mercure Ginza from Oct 4 to 7 and had a wonderful stay. Even before we arrived, we got in touch with the hotel to assist us in reservations for a restaurant which they did perfectly and we really appreciated that. Staff were friendly and we were able to check in earlier than usual. Staff also speak good English... More

We spent 10 nights here and would definitely recommend this hotel - we intend to return there in 2015. We found the staff to be friendly and obliging, in particular the dining room staff - as well as providing excellent service; they assisted us with information, directions and recommendations each day. The rooms are clean and a generous size for... More

Do not hesitate to stay at Mercure Tokyo Ginza. My wife and I stayed on Sept. 7-18th. Excellent customer service, no exception. Special thanks to Ms. Kunigi (front desk) and Mr. Murata (former sales manager). At this time, he is at Ibis styles in Kyoto). Both are so atencious, polite. Good breakfast and dinner.Service is good as well. Its localization... More

Nice room and nice location, right in the middle of the Ginza district. Lots of nice eating places nearby, though a little pricey. I didn't use the restaurant; I was told my room rate hadn't included breakfast, and looking at the price, it was far cheaper to buy something from the Lawson's shop at the end of the block, just... We are staying in this place for 4 nights and 2 more nights to go. Don't expect anything although they act like they are a high class hotel. Some good thing is a spacious room, though nothing special in it, typical Mercure nothingness. The location, in the midst of Ginza district, is convenient for (overpriced) shopping and (must visit) Kabuki.... More

I stayed here for a business trip and loved the location , very close to trains , easy walk to Ginza and all the restaurants and shopping . Restaurant a bit pricey and slow at breakfast , but Starbucks is around the corner and MacDonalds next door if you want to grab a quick bite in the AM. There is... More

Dear valuable Guest, Thank you for leaving your comments on TripAdvisor. I should recognize that the goods’ prices in Japan are very expensive. We strive to have good quality products for our customers.... More
