Stayed here in March for a few days when pretty much all higher category hotels were booked out for sakura season. Rooms are very small but cover the basics, amenities and comfort wise. At the time, the rate was quite high, but usually APA looks like it is a pretty affordable stay option. Staff was nice, too, and though I... More

Overall the hotel was quite nice. The staff at the lobby were really friendly and accommodating, although their English was mediocre. Rooms were pretty small, but this seems to be a trend throughout many hotels in the city. As a foreigner in Japan I was blown away by the technology in the bathroom with regards to flushing the toilet and... More

This hotel is great for those on a budget but still want to sleep in comfort. It isn't the biggest but it isn't the smallest. You get a bright room with a separate bathroom with a bath. You get all the mod-cons you'd get at any modern hotel. The staff are very friendly. The train station isn't far away, short... More

The Rooms are tiny but the bed is pretty big, I reserved a non smoking double, I am a really big guy so for me a double room is just perfect, you're in Japan so you only need the place to leave your stuff and crash out for a bit. Tsukiji market is really close and Ginza is right down... More

Situated in a pleasant neighborhood. The room was spotless. It was small as expected. Location was great. Quiet area but walkable to Tsukiji market and Ginza shopping areas. Convenience stores nearby. Wifi is super slow though. Very close to Shintomicho subway.

The hotel is ok for one night because the rooms are really tiny. But the location is excellent. It's about 10-15 min from Tsukiji district. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom amenities are provided. There is also a water heater, coffee and tea bags.

The location is great; don't take the subway - it's only 10 minutes walk away from the Kabukiza/Tsukiji and a little longer to central Ginza. The streets are a bit quiet at night, but it's worth it for the access to ginza areas. The rooms are tiny - the smallest I've stayed in in Japan. The bathroom is fine and... More

Great position, Shintomicho Subway station is 1 minute by foot. Rooms are tiny but clean and well serviced. Booking went smoothly and no issues at all. Definitely not for family accommodation but couples will find it nice and cosy. Fairly priced.

We stayed at the hotel during a weeks holiday in Tokyo. The rooms are extremely small, when I asked if it was possible to pay for an upgrade, I was told that all the rooms had the same size. Service was OK, apart from a few language problems , because none of us speak Japanese. The location is great and... More

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighborhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
