Having two teenagers travelling in Japan, location, safety and being close to public transportation were my concerns. Kids were very happy because of nearby subway, safe area, and option of nearby restaurants. Not so positive point, hotel is hard to find but once you know your way around, no problems. Kids did share a room, small but enough for them.... More

This hotel is located in a great place to access the subway for a short trip to Tskiji or Ueno. It was pretty much just a bed to sleep in and a shower to clean in, but it was clean, the staff was friendly, and someone was always on hand that could speak some English. Just down the road is... More

We enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The room was small (as are most Japanese rooms) but clean and very well equipped. The area around the hotel felt safe and had a good selection of shops and restaurants, and is also close to 2 metro stops. The hotel policy that if you don't want fresh towels every day you receive... More

Just stayed here and I have no complains. Very close to Suitengomae Station (3mins walk) and I only use this station to connect to all the places I visited in tokyo. I took a cab from Tokyo Station to the hotel and it cost me ¥1000. But do have the accurate address for the taxi driver. It is near TCAT... More

It's an OK hotel with a very friendly English speaking staff. The room is tiny but very well kept and spotless. My only regret is that I thought it was very close to Tokyo station, but it isn't. You have to walk a good 35 minutes to get there. And to make things even worse the hotel can be very... More

Like most Japanese business hotels, Fresa Inn is impeccably clean. The staff are very helpful and will be glad to provide you with any amenities you might need (irons/trouser press/humidifiers). The rooms are small, typical of a Japanese business hotel, but not cramped. I booked a double room with my partner and we have enough space for both our luggages.... More

First of all it was my first trip to Tokyo, and I liked the location only 5-10 min walk to Tokyo City Air Terminal , 2 metro lines nearby , a lot of restaurangs around. For me the location was perfect as I wanted a good starting point for sightseeing and a quiet place to sleep The room was small... More

We had an excellent stay at Sotetsu-Fresa inn. Rooms are small, but they have all sort of amenity: fridge, boiler, hairdryer...and the bathroom is well equipped. Staff is very nice, and has no problem speaking English. There's a nice environmental policy, so that if you don't have your linen changed every day, you'll get a water bottle for free. Location... I love this hotel. It's conveniently 3 mins from the Metro, has a great little restaurant across the street (Munchies), a 711 on the next corner; a tiny but stylish room with a bath (short in length but so what,it's a bath and I love bathing) , a laundry, complimentary coffee in the lobby, complimentary bath salts every day, and... We stayed in winter this January and really loved our stay. When we first walked in we were greeted by a modern clean lobby and lovely receptionists. Check in was easy and our room was ready early. The rooms have their own heaters so you can control the temperature. The rooms are small but we were expecting that in a... More
