Stayed here on Christmas eve 2011. Very much overpriced and poorly maintained rooms. Rooms are definitely showing its age and requires major renovation. Have expected better from a Nikko Hotel and was very disappointed

The hotel is nothing special. Rooms are pretty small and facilities are nothing spectacular. Staff is just friendly enough. You need to carry your luggage up some 10 stairs to reach the entrance and there's no one to help. We booked a superior double room and got a teeny tiny room with the bed leaning towards the wall. I know... More

Great location, easy to walk (7 ish mins) to from Shimbashi JR station even with a suitcase. The Metro is a tad closer but not much. The area has every thing you might need as a tourist, expensive shops, convenience stores, fast food and (expensive) slow food. The choice is yours. Huge plus – they allowed me early check-in (around... More

I've stayed several Nikko hotels before - Osaka, Kumamoto, Okinawa and Tokyo-Odaiba. So Itotally trusted the Nikko brand. However, this Ginza Nikko wasn't the same quality as other Nikkos. I was very disappointed when I saw old and rundown property. The hallway was somewhat dingy, room was outdated. Bathroom wasn't clean, mold on bathroom tiles. And coffee pot has a... More

this was our 2nd hotel in Tokyo. hotel is really a 10min walk from all the subway stations, and it needs maintenance & major update. room was ancient and dirty looking (from old age). it was fine for a 1 night stand, but i would not stay here in my next trip back to Tokyo. it was also more expensive... The first time I visited the Ginza Nikko hotel I asked for a nice silent non smoking room and they fulfilled my request, even if it was early arrival (and after travelling for almost 20 hours you really need to rest!). The stuff was very kind and excellent, they were really helpful in many occasions. One of the cleanest hotel... More

We stayed at the Ginza Nikko Hotel in early December for 3 nights whilst visiting Tokyo. The hotel is in a very good location in the Ginza District, approximately a 5 minute walk to either Shimbashi Station or the central Ginza Shopping district. The rooms were supposedly renovated late last year but the bathroom and other room facilities felt very... More

While located centrally in Tokyo, the hotel is located rather far away from any metro station so it takes a while to go there on foot. Check-In was very professional with staff speaking perfect English. Each morning I got a free newspaper in English language. The room was very small with the wall closet being only abt. 4 feet high.... More

Great location to train station and shopping and restaurants in Ginza. A small hotel, but rooms were not as small as we had anticipated. Convenient to bank and corner store. No internet service.

Stayed at the Ginza Nikko while I was in Tokyo, both times (before and after visiting/working in Taiwan). For approximately 200 US dollars, I would expect a room to be large enough to allow a person to move about comfortably and store bags comfortably. Not so here. I have paid less for a one night stay at hotels that have... More
