We booked a non-smoking room and after arrival (mind you, we arrived early and at a non-crazy-travel time of the year, so there should have been plenty of rooms available) we were thrown into a smoking room. It smelled awful! We had already payed for 3 nights and since Tokyo is so expensive we had to tough through the torturous... more

Our first hotel in japan and the service was amazing, the staff are first class and the massage chair is such a blessing after all of the walking you will do. Very large room for japan, close to the fish market and subway, fantastic location and great views more

This hotel is excellent. I stayed there in July to visit a convention in Tokyo. It is very clean and neat. Everything is in its place and is organized. It is connected to a shopping kind of center that has McDonnels,7-11,am-pm, and some very nice little restaurants that have great food. You only have to walk about 5 minutes to... more

I stayed at this hotel on the 23rd March for two nights. I arrived unfortunately when the tokyo marathon was on which meant that there were no taxi's from the main railway station. However two subway trains later i was able to walk to the hotel. luckily the hotel is easily identifiable from the picture on the internet when approached... more

Seven minute walk from Tuskiji station. Quick access to fishmarket, restaurtants, and ginza. The area is pretty quiet at night but lots of great restaurants and a few izakayas. The hotel itself is wonderful; but that's true for many in Japan. more

A great hotel within a businesscomplex on the 33-38th floor with wonderful views over Tokyo skyline, next to Sumida river. Large reception at ground floor with excellent service. The two elevators goes directly to the floors between 33 and 38th floor. There are a lot of shops on the ground floor close to the hotel. The rooms are large by... more

I agree with all other reviews, we also enjoyed the views and spacious rooms. We even saw Mt Fuji on 2 mornings in April from our bedroom window. When arriving with suitcases try getting off at the southern part of Tsukiji subway as there is a lift. The northern exit (Near Denny's) is closer to the hotel though there are... more

This hotel starts on the 33rd floor so the views of the river leading to the Tskiji fish market and the rainbow bridge are amazing. Just a short walk to Japans fantastic subway system with a MacDonalds, Gloria Jeans, a great 7/11 that will heat your food selection for you. Head upstairs from the foyer to get the best brekky... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and it was a great deal. Good access to the Hibiya-subway line (3 blocks from Tsukiji-station). We had a Superior Room with magnificent view from our window overlooking central Tokyo (Tokyo Tower, Ginza district, Tokyo Bay with Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba-island). Make sure you book a room with "city-view". The room was really... more

I was Tokyo twice on a recent trip, and because I was unable to secure a reservation at my usual hotel I decided to try the Hotel New Hankyu Tokyo, mainly because the price was reasonable and it appeared to be in a good location. I found my stay to be satisfying, and I would consider staying their again in... more
